OXO Good Grips Compact Dustpan & Brush Set

Great piece of kit. Light and compact but so effective - the brush gets to places flexibly and collects particles smoothly.

Love the sturdy bristles to get in to the grooves on my wooden dining table. Easily sweeps away crumbs and stores in the tiniest space due to its compact size. Good price for this quality mini dustpan and brush.

Purchased this product to clean up crumbs on my table and counter top working areas. I wanted something which could not be used to clean other areas, had reasonably soft bristles as well as being compact and light. The small pan is most effective, the rubber seal works well in backing up or sliding under surfaces and fabric. This product covers most of these points whilst being easy to use for arthritic hands and small enough to keep in a drawer or to hand. However, after only a couple of uses I found the bristles became slightly distorted but with careful handling straightened after being in the pan. The brush clicks back into the pan really well. Only time will tell how long the bristles last but so far so good. I would recommend.

Very compact and works well at its job - just as effective as the traditional larger sized ones. Only downside is you have to be especially careful to put the brush back in or the bristles get bent back, which over time would affect its capability. There isn't much margin for error for people in a hurry.

Purchased after seeing them on a certain channel as recommended for motorhomes/ campervans. Thoroughly well impressed and excellent product for any leisure vehicle due to quality and small size for storage which is all important.

Very good and compact to keep in small areas . Brushes up really well plus the little dustpan works well too .

We ordered two dirt cheap £1.40 Generic Mini Dustpan sets from 'LTZmart' that had a 13cm dustpan width, as we wanted a small portable dustpan+brush for the family tent when camping, having trodden on our old grey 'Butler's dustpan & brush set' (which was great at £3.99 but is no longer made). However these Mini dustpans just weren't robust enough for regular camping use, so we tried this far more expensive £6.99 OXO Good Grips compact dustpan and brush that has a 16cm wide x 4cm high dustpan. Initial impressions are that this OXO unit is far more solid and robust (indeed it's probably the most solidly built dustpan and brush set that we have ever bought in moulded plastic). It looks exactly like the photo and the brush clips [quite tightly] into the dustpan for storage. The brush bristles are firm, but still more flexible than the stiffer type of dustpan brush (in fact the bristles are virtually the same resilience as the cheap mini dustpan&brush set). Although the OXO Good Grips dustpan edge is only 3cm wider than the cheap generic mini-dustpan at 16cm, the extra width [and height] is noticeably more effective in sweeping than the cheaper generic set. Just what we wanted for for putting into the camping kit bag, so 5*, even at £6.99 each. Although we use this OXO compact for dirty floor use in the tent, it would also be fine reserved for table-top sweeping. The OXO Compact dustpan doesn't have a hole for hanging on a hook/peg, although it happily stands upright on its small rear base for storage.

I needed someone to swiftly pick up the hairs and dust around my small room and pack away neatly without any misplacement, this brush set has offered me precisely that. The brush neatly packs inside and is so compact, the set works as a nice ornament to place on a shelf or desk. When it's time to brush, the brush has lush bristles, tightly packed together with no fraying bristles, to sweep up into the mini dustpan. I have not felt the difficulty others have reported with getting just into the pan. Yes, it does need a few more sweeps to get it into the pan but nothing so detrimental that makes this set dysfunctional. I love this nifty brush set priced well according to its value.

Good quality.Nice color. The soft texture of the brush create a smooth and breezy feel during sweeping.

Was suprised by how small this items is, it felt and looked like it belonged in my Daughters doll house, play house, i mean its the size of my palm so not ideal for a normal household.

Anders als eine klassisch flache Schaufel hat dieses Set eine Art Auffangbehälter, der nur auf einer Schmalseite offen ist - mit dem Vorteil, dass man die hineingekehrten Brösel auch ein paar Mal sammeln kann, bevor man sich auf den ach so weiten Weg zum Mülleimer machen muss :) Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass sich der kleine Besen fest in diesen Behälter einklinkt, ihn damit quasi verschließt und somit das Set auch schön beisammen bleibt. Dank seiner geraden Unterseite lässt es sich auch noch aufrecht hinstellen - so kann dann auch garantiert nichts herausfallen, siehe oben :) Auch nett: Dieses Kehrset schmiegt sich geradezu in die Hand, ist weder winzig noch für den Handbetrieb zu groß, lässt sich gut festhalten und ist von daher in der Handhabe "leichtgängig". Bei mir ist dieses Set griffbereit gleich neben dem Brotschneidebrett geparkt, und ist täglich im Einsatz um dort auf die Schnelle den Meter drumherum ^^ und gelegentlich auch den Frühstückstisch zu entbröseln - ein Segen! Das elfenbeinfarbene Oxo-Set mit seiner orangeroten Gummilippe ist wirklich hervorragend verarbeitet, und für mich ein gutes Beispiel für gelungenes Design, getreu dem Leitsatz "form follows function": ein formschönes und vor allem sinnvolles Gadget - ich gebe es jedenfalls nicht mehr her :)

Lo ho acquistato per tenere pulito vicino la macchinetta dell'espresso, infatti, dopo aver fatto il caffè, la polvere la trovo sempre sparsa ovunque. È un prodotto molto valido, raccoglie la polvere del caffè e le briciole senza lasciare tracce. Compatto e discreto, lo lascio sul piano della cucina a portata di mano, per me è diventato un oggetto indispensabile.

Très bel objet qui est également très pratique pour ramasser la litière projetée en dehors du bac.
