Change battery: You can use a case opener tool or a knife to pry up the back cover, and then carefully put the battery on the position where the previous battery is on.

That may be hard to come across as most of the pendant watches have the normal dial face. A nursing fob watch is the nearest I can think that has the face you want. Afraid it's a case of trawling the net till you find one that fits the bill. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
