Great for filling with treasure and trinkets for kids. Wrap in an old sack and bury in the sand on a deserted beach. Kids were so excited when they followed a treasure map and lo and behold treasure was found .Looked great and is sturdy too.

Well I bought it to keep my treasure in, and I must say it's well made, and a good size, good price. You can lock it with a padlock. Not too heavy and the perfect gift as everyone is commenting on it

Beautiful but stinks
Beautiful box, and well made. But stinks of a chemical smell which I can't seem to get rid of. Such a shame. Going to try putting clear varnish over it to see if it helps. But who knows.
