European to UK Adapter EU to UK Plug Adaptor

After 1 use this happened

I ordered two of these and got two different brands (see picture), none of them like the described product. One of them was Pifco (extremely hard to plug anything in), and the other one only had 2 pins, so not suitable for EU 3 pin plugs. The item in the advertised picture is a much better quality (I have one already) and I came to Amazon because I could not find that brand anymore; but disappointingly, Amazon has the picture of that brand but then ships a different brand's product. This is faulty won't hold the prongs in for the electric tooth brush just bounces back out . Not happy . Expect this when you pay £1 from a cheap shop would not recommend anyone to buy this item . Very dispointed . Thought buying products from Amazon would be better than paying for rubbish on other selling sites . How wrong was I ! £6 down the drain . AVOID

Adaptor is okay, however, I recently purchased on Amazon Braun Electric toot-brush made in EU. Amazon should take responsibility and make sure by adding on UK 🇬🇧 Market for UK 🇬🇧 customers, the adapter should be included for UK users not being hypocritical and selling separately!Amazon is loosing my trust and in near future would request more information before believing in Amazons dodgy conn in display on their website!Mr. F. Doesn’t fit my new Oral-B vitality plus electric toothbrush it’s as if the 2 pins are too long and they just spring out definitely doesn’t fit. I should have asked myself but I did see from the reviews other people’s worked fine with it so ordered it☹️ But I did see that other people did have the same problem as me and was told it doesn’t work with certain long pins so to be fair if I would have read the reviews on this problem I wouldn’t have ordered it so my own fault really☹️ And lesson learned Read the Reviews 😷😷

Works fine to connect simple 2-pin EU plug to UK socket. No earth/ground connection though not an issue in my application. Felt mechanically reassuring, making contact with reasonable tightness and without excessive wobble. Product also has features for additional plug types including slots for blade-type connectors, apparently for parallel US and angled Aus-type contacts, but these were not tried.

Good quality product and arrived in good condition. Very pleased with them. Great to have a pair of these to hand as often electrical products are shipped with EU plugs these days, so makes economic sense.

I have bought and tested 3 of these plugs, all of them work fine. My only issue, which doesn't have to do with the product is the packaging. All 3 plugs came in a very big cardboard box with so much paper. I am not aware if this was in purpose but I believe that a smaller, less wasteful packaging would do the work. Other than that, they work great!
