Exactly What I Needed
This has been a game changer for my overall fitness. The notebook itself is excellent quality, and it has enough space for me to get a whole week of workouts in on a single page. It's simple, yet very effective, and exactly what I need to track my workouts.

Helps me track strength training progress
I don’t find it convenient for cardio but it’s perfect for tracking reps, sets and weight. I strength train 4x a week so I use the book a little differently than intended. Every week, the page on the right is upper body, page on the left is lower. I only do 3 sets of each exercise so each page covers 2 workouts as it provides columns for 6 sets. This way I have a workout week at a glance. My cardio is tracked via fitness apps as I do something cardio almost daily and it doesn’t fit this book very well. Good price, sturdy book that is convenient size for me to carry with me at gym.

Perfect gym journal and better than any app!
This book is great! Pros: Enough room to log lots of exercises and well organized to quickly track and analyze progress. Thoughtful layout allowing you to comprehensively log not only the structure of the workout but energy levels, future improvement ideas or current achievements Sturdy pages where inks don’t bleed through Quick muscle and measurement guides with tips on exercising each group Logging and journaling is super quick and easy All of the pros are why I purchased this book. After doing extensive research on other products and digital apps this journal appeared the best solution to me because it has everything I need and is a lot quicker to jot down as you move along than it is to scroll through menus on apps. If there is one slight adjustment I think this book could use it would be to expand on the cardio section a little bit. It would be nice to log time intervals, running cadence, or other details that get a little crowded in the small cardio section of each page.

Workout Staple
This is hands down the best gym book I’ve owned. It gives you 14 lines for exercises and up to 6 sets of each. I’ve used it religiously for the past 3 or so years. Please note I use this purely for tracking what I do during my lifts—I am not using it for nutrition or food tracking. It’s helped me with tracking progress and referencing past weights for exercises instead of guessing. There’s also a section in the front of the book where they include suggested exercises for target areas. My personal favorite is that they also include a spade where I can record custom exercises. I’ve found this extremely helpful for listing all the exercises I can think of for given areas: core, hamstrings, glutes, chest, back, etc. it’s a lifesaver when I find myself doing my own programming or when I’m too tired to think of 3 core exercises/ finishers.

Pages fall off of the binding
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I originally chose this book because I liked the way it was laid out. It gives plenty of space to record multiple workout and sets and I liked having the space at the bottom of each page where I record some extra notes about my workout if needed. Design: I like the contents of the book and have been using this style for a solid 5years and have purchased this book multiple times over those years. However the quality seems to have gone down over time. I find the binding starts to split and pages pop out after I am only halfway through the book. The cover has fallen off my last 3 copies and then the pages start to fall out after that. I carry my book in a gym bag so it does get tossed around a bit, but if it was just a spiral binder there wouldn’t be any issues.
