ABUS Combiflex 2503 cable lock, 72501 Black

I rate ABUS kit functional with reasonable quality. This is a great product for it's intended purpose - ie preventing opportunistic theft by securing your bike for a few mins in low risk environments. It's lightweight and compact so can fit in a jersey pocket with no hassle. Fight the temptation to fiddle with it straight out of the box as you could get locked out of your own lock! The instructions aren't the clearest, but if you follow them carefully for first usage, you can set your own code and operate the lock quite easily.

good quality, easy to use. has all the functions that are important in these locks (its not just the locking and unlocking, but also the ability to lock the length of the chord - which this does, and a few other things)

Since we have friends who had their pushchairs stolen, I was adamant that we have a lock! Most of those on Amazon are shorter with 3-digit passcode lock. I was happy to find one longer. It is very compact and lightweight with straightforward instructions. The only bit I'm worried about is that it may feel too lightweight. I'm not sure how durable it would be, if someone actually tries to break it. Hence the 4 stars.

Works quite well, obviously not high security but works great as a deterrent. I purchased for securing skis when leaving unattended, for example when stopping at a busy mountain cafe or restaurant, or in an open ski room. Stops someone inadvertently taking the wrong skis by mistake, which occasionally does happen, a cheap and simple lightweight deterrent.

Small enough to fit in your pocket! Feels like a quality product. Yeah it’s a thin cable but as far as locks go it’s better than no lock at all!. Cable length is about 1m so could go round two bikes. Perfect cafe lock and goes with me on every ride!

Great little lock & super for other uses as well. Bought this for a snowboarding holiday just for peace of mind over anything. Is it going to stop someone pinching your board or they have some hefty wire/bolt cutters... No. But does it act as a deterant for any sticky fingered individuals who might want a quick snatch of a decent board. Yes!! £20ish quid is nothing when you've spent several hundreds on your own board

Giving 3 stars based on lack of decent instructions for initial set up. Almost had it set to a random number due to poor instructions and set button releasing prematurely but thankfully worked it out. Better instructions please!! On a plus, seems nice & light for travelling with.

Works ok, its made from plastic, so would not deter a determined thief. But its OK for securing the helmet to the motor bike, which is what I use it for occasionally
