So what is a Cushion Foundation? It's a little sponge that's been soaked with a small amount of watered-down foundation. It comes in a dinky mirrored compact, with an applicator like a foam powder puff. You bop the puff on the sponge, it picks up a bit of foundation, you dab this on your face and spread it around with the puff.It's basically the same as applying foundation with a damp cosmetic sponge, which we should all be doing but mostly don't. It's got novelty value and, should you want to carry foundation around with you, is a lot neater and cleaner than tubes and sponges in your bag.I found Ivory a decent shade for my averagely fair, British skin. The foundation's matte. This method of application gives a light coverage, but I did manage reasonable camouflage of my dark under-eye circles by sticking my finger into the sponge and dabbing a bit extra on.The single compact's fairly cheap and fun. I wouldn't keep buying these: apart from anything else, that's a lot of plastic waste if you're throwing each one out as it gets used up. This tiny amount of makeup won't last long at all, but I can't see why you wouldn't wash the sponge out and refill it. I might try that!

It’s good. Just press the pad in to the jar. And wipe across face. Good coverage. Just top up on go when needed. It does last long on your skin. Have not had to top up. It’s on from morning till time to wash off for bed. Just right size for handbag to.

This was a great price and good value but it looked very orange on me! I'm mixed race and it didn't suit my skin tone at all, however it may work for those with a darker skin tone. I ended up giving mine away.

I really like this foundation, which isn't available in shops now, discontinued I think. Goes on so easily and is natural. However, it is difficult to judge online so you could end up with the wrong shade for you...like any online make up.

I had to seek advice from my friends who are make up artists and said the look was drying my face out, revealing wrinkles I didn’t even know I had. They said based on my moisturising steps to prepare my skin, the finish shouldn’t leave this hair spray plastic film that makes me look like a dried apricot. I’ll be using it as a contour only because it doesn’t even match my complexion anyway. Absolutely stunning grip to build your look but be warned. Cannot recommend. Sorry maybelline. I was born with better skin and you ruined what dewy youth I naturally have.

So, das ist das erste mal das ich eine Bewertung zu Make Up abgebe. Aber das muss sein, denn ich bin das erste mal zufrieden mit einer Foundation. Zu meiner Haut: ich habe eine schrecklich ultra trockene Haut, selbst im Sommer, trotz ständiger Pflege und feuchtigkeitsprimer. Außerdem habe ich erweiterte Poren. Jede, wirklich jede Foundation hat man bei mir gesehen, es sag einfach jede cakey aus, trocken und man hat einfach immer gesehen, das ich make Up drauf habe. Welche bei mir auch gut ist, ist die BB Cream von Garnier. Fürn alltag ok, jedoch zum feiern war mir die nicht deckend genug.Zu der Maybelline Cushion: ich trage sie nach meiner Feuchtigkeitspflege und Primer mit einem Beautyblender auf. Der Auftrag ist super einfach. Und man sieht gleich das sie ganz gut deckt, besser als die BB Cream, jedoch keine Full Coverage Foundation. Sie riecht ganz angenehm, schön sommerlich. Man merkt überhaupt nicht, dass man eine Foundation drauf hat, wenn sie nach ca 20 Minuten in die Haut eingezogen ist. Sie verbindet sich wirklich super mit der Haut.Vom Finish ist sie eher Glowy. Aber nicht zu dolle. Das sieht gut aus. Ich Puder meine Foundation NIE ab, ansonsten siehts ja wieder so aus wie ich es nicht will, cakey und trocken. Aber trotzdem hält sie 10h locker so aus. Ich denke aber, dass sie wirklich nur was für trockene bis sehr trockene Haut.Schade finde ich, dass es sie in Drogerie nur bis Farbe 30 Sand gibt. Das ist mir ein wenig zu hell, deswegen habe ich mir sie hier nur nochmal in der Farbe 40 Fawn bestellt.Also wenn ihr auch so trockene Haut und das make Up immer aufgetragen aussieht, probiert die mal.
