Fender023-4506-000 ABY Pedal Switch Between Two Amps or Guitars 023-4506-000

I purchased this switch because I need to switch beteween two instruments without having to pull the lead out of one and plug it into the other causing a massive crack sound. The box is very solidly made and does not require a battery to work although it is better with one as you can see how its switched. I put my Guitar in input "A" and Ukulele in input "B" then connect the "Input" socket to my amp then use the RHS footswitch to select the one I want connected to the amp. I believe it can also be used the other way round ie Guitar into "Input" and "A" & "B" to two seperate Amps/Effects lines. Stand on the RHS footswitch to switch between "A" and "B". The LHS footwitchconnects both "A" and "B" sockets to the input socket, maybe some might find that confusing as in that mode it just connects all jacks together.Very pleased with my purchase, quite amazing to buy something with "Fender" stamped on it at such a reasonable price that works so well.

Yes, this pedal could be a bit smaller, but the quality and value for money is great. Really sturdy and the optional LED lights are handy. You can use this passivly (without power) but without the LEDs, but it might get frustrating to know what you have got selected or not.I'm using this to plug 2 guitars into one amp, so I can change guitars quickly between songs. There are smaller boxes out there, but if like me you want to add this to your pedalboard, be aware of the jack socket orientation. Many others have sockets on the sides and as the other ones I looked at had the AB inputs on the left side, that interfered with my pedalboard chain and took up a lot more space. This one has all input/output jacks on the top, so it worked better for me...Anyway - It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very happy with this product.

This ABY does exactly as you'd expect, allowing to switch between things seamlessly.I use this to switch between electric and acoustic guitars through the same rig when leading worship at church, and it's so much easier that messing around swapping cables.Most of the ABY pedals I looked at seemed to only switch between outputs. This, depending on how you connect the cables will allow you to connect 1 guitar to 2 amps/DI or 2 guitars into 1 amp, which is how I'm using it.Good value at the price I paid, and it's built very well - I'm not worried about it breaking, though if it did, I replace it immediately

Everything about this pedal is good, except for its size. It's the same size as a TrueTone Route66 OD and compression 2-in-1 pedal. (Or an ibanez tubescreamer TS808 deluxe), which seems excessive for an AB-Y. Rugged, well made, good switching. LEDs for each option so you know exactly what's going on. One switch does A-B toggling, the other kicks it into Y mode. Really versatile. Works passively, but needs power for the LEDs to work. all the cables are top mounted which helps get it onto pedalboards, but seriously, in this age of mini pedals I'd be amazed if they couldn't make this at least half the size, if not more. Now, if you want it off-board as as standalone, eg for switching instruments, then this is great, and its size/sturdiness make it excellent for this. I have 3 of these for various uses. Nice bit of kit.

Been looking for something like this for ages. Really great splitter. I use it for alternative effects channels.Input to outputs - either A, B or A&B. Lights let you know what you have on. (unlike cheaper splitters).Battery (PP3) or 9vDC supply. (Can work without power but you'll get no lights.)Solid, well made. Good for studio or stage. No hum or noise or loss of signal.And I love the fact it's a Fender too as my guitars of choice are Fenders. Nice red.

One input works, the other doesn't. The unit is I think made under license, but unfortunately this sort of thing impacts the Fender brand. Replaced it with a Boss unit that does the job perfectly.

OK this is a very cheap pedal. It works fine and lets you either connect 2 guitars to 1 amp or 2 amos to 1 guitar.It’s made of metal, but the fit and finish are really poor, I opened the panel to fit a battery for the LED lights, one of the 2 screw holes is stripped and the screw will not tighten. There is glue all around the four rubber feet, and still one of them fell off.Not sure whether or not to keep this, depends on whether I can find a better built ABY pedal for a reasonable price.

Does exactly what it states.....awesome piece of kit for not a lot of money. I use this to switch between 2 amps and its faultless. My only slight grievance is that it would be better to have the input on the opposite side to the 2 outputs....but for the money its worth every penny.

Works and doesn’t add anything unwanted like noise of coloration

I found the MXR a/b box to be very noisy. Was looking for a noise free, transparent solution. Took a chance on the Fender and I'm very glad I did. Does exactly what it's supposed to do without adding any signal noise or degradation. Highly recommended!

Produit sans fioriture, il fait ce qu’on lui demande. Acheté pour repartir le son à la demande vers le PC et un ampli ou les deux à la fois. Fonctionne sans alimentation, une pile sert uniquement à allumer la diode.Je recommande

Grazie a questo pedalino riesco a scegliere tra un amplificatore , l'altro o tutti e due insieme per un effetto stereo avvolgente. Funziona anche benissimo con i plugin del computer mandando un'uscita a un input della scheda audio e l'altra uscita all'altro input .Non ha bisogno di alimentazione per funzionare , comunque la consiglio per avere i LED del pedale attivi.Il costo è magari un po altino ,però la qualità si paga .
