La RicheDirections Semi-Permanent Hair Colour Dye x2 Pack-Violet (dir)

Absolutely love this hair dye. After having religiously used the likes of L'oreal and Schwartzkopf (or however else you spell it) this dye is a game changer for my hair. Surpringsly didn't run as much in the shower when washing it off and hasn't stained my bathroom (bonus). My hair was 50 shades of ginger, thanks to previous dye fading, so I just chucked the Violet directions one on to wet hair and it's turned my hair into 50 shades of oooooh. In the dark my hair looks purple but as soon as the light hits it, it looks a pinky colour.Notw - in the photo, the first square was my hair colour before, the second and third square was my hair the day after and the last one was my hair colour this morning which is day 3 of having used this dye.

I bought this in August 2020 - and have topped up the colour 6 weeks apart - just the ends of my hair (about 3" long). It's gone on brown, blonde, dyed silver hair , & the depth of colour remains quite deep. I haven't finished pot 1 yet & I have pot 2 waiting for me when it does!My friends think it's a lovely colour - I call it my "middle age thing" - I love the depth - just remember to get GLOVES or you will be wondering about with purple hands!

Perfectly purple. It's become my stream hair colour! Vibrant yet it doesn't damage your hair (even if you accidentally leave it on for too long!) I highly recommend having some blonde put in your hair first to achieve 'super purple' as shown in my attached picture :) (I've found picture on the directions website don't really help unless you look a the gallery to see the true colour of the dye!).Depending on your hair strength, length and thickness depends on how much you will need. My hair is quite thick and goes down to my chest so I always buy 2 pots so I use one whole one and have a spare for any patches that I might miss...but one whole pot tends to cover it. If you don't need a whole pot, don't worry. The pot lid just screws back on so easily and you can use more as and when you need it in the future.

Took two lots to get the desired vibrant purple colour. My hair is dark brown with bleached blonde ends so the colour was visible straight away. Hoping it fades to lilac but seems to be lasting well after a week so far. The consistency is thick and it doesn't drip but I was careful with it. It does stain so make sure you vasiline your hair line and use gloves and towel everywhere lol

I have been using directions for years now, I purchased the colour violet and it is absolutely stunning!I used this over a very faded cerise and the results are amazing. Best semipermanent colour.

I love this hair dye it doesn't have blue undertones like most so it fades to lilac not blue

This is in no way permanent, but it might stain you hair so be warned.Works on bleached hair best, but on mine does not totally wash out, but just fades to a really light silver/blue/pink tones which I love, but not for anyone who just wants a quick fix then back to blonde.I normally pastelise this by mixing a small amount into conditioner before applying, but I have also used it straight out the tub - boy is it bright then!I have tried other colours but keep coming back to this one as I love it so much.

Colour is a little dull on bleached hair.Doesn't cover equally
