This is an excellent tool for flush cutting edge banding at the end of a panel.This is what it's for, this is all it does, and it is perfect for this application.If you need to cut nails, staples, wire, ANYTHING other than laminate edge banding, this is NOT the tool foe you.

I recently did some edge banding for the first time. I knew how it worked, but never did much. In watching videos on the subject, I saw many people recommend these exact cutters and I can see why. These are totally amazing. First of course, they are flush cut, so you can get right up the edge, and make great corners. I used them on 45 degree edges and worked awesome.I found that if I cut the edge close, then I could better see the plywood and make better final flush cuts.Love these, descent price, would gladly recommend.

These are invaluable for cutting edge banding. The flat bottom allows you to cut the banding flush with the board or you can tilt it a few degrees to undercut. Undercutting finishes the end so that the edge banding doesn't catch on anything and provides a nice joint between the shelf and gable. This is way safer than using a knife to cut the banding. Remember to lubrications the tool for less resistance and I think I can lap the flat side to make them a bit sharper.

These trimmers make clean, close cuts. I use these primarily for trimming 3/4” edge banding veneer. On initial cuts, or final trimming the blades cut the veneer easily. The cut is clean and sharp, and does not require much pressure. After apply the veneer to plywood, these trimmers allow for a very close, clean cut that in sometimes requires no additional sanding.I only rated durability 3stars because I’ve only had these for a few months ( 2 cabinet projects). However I would say that I expect they will be highly durable in the long term.

Excellent tool if you have a lot of edgebanding to apply. Works faster and easier than trimming it with a knife and less prone to error.Wish I had gotten them on the first project.

After trying a lot of tools for trimming the edge of the edge-banding I found these.......Worth every penny and works everytime!

Excelente producto, no se porque los gringos se quejan que no deja un corte al ras, o esperan un acabado de fábrica o no las utilizan correctamente, con un poco de práctica se puede lograr un corte perfecto. Agiliza mucho el trabajo de enchapado de cantos, sin duda las volvería a comprar.

I use it for edge bending trimming. It's perfect. Sharp and good size for 3/4 in plywood.
