Handy, very handy....
It's summer and there are flies about, too many where I live and these handy (see what I did there) swatters are just the ticket to deny the pestilence from buzzing about your kitchen, bathroom - whatever room.I have two negatives - the first being that they seem rather brittle - I've lost a thumb from one already but maybe that was more to do with the swish of my action rather than the slap/smack of the hand. The second is that they seem to think we should swat bees with one of these - we should not, bees are good, they're fuzzy, they make honey, they pollinate a whole host of flora and vital food stuffs and they will not sting you if they can help it. Now, wasps on the other hand..............I've seen better, I've seen some with a stiffer handle and a very flexible square shaped rubber swatting section. But at this price, I'm not going to complain.

Satisfying splat but not exactly indestructable
These little swatters definitely do the job and make a nicely satisfying sound each time you dispatch a winged critter, but they do tend to destroy themselves in the process. It may be a bit much to expect them to survive the fervour with which I go after the pests in the house, but it seems that with every swipe some part of the swatter is broken off in sacrifice for my murderous rampage. It's a good thing you get 5 of them is all I can say, and that they are so cheap because they don't last that long!

Flimsy but does the job
I’m a Reception class teacher and wanted these for an activity of swat ‘cvc’ Words. I was really pleased how quickly they arrived and are a good size, downfall would be they are really flimsy and one got broken within the first 5minutes of the activity being out which was disappointing. However, the others are still going strong and the children love them. Not sure how long they wud last swatting real flies!

Just what I needed to deal with fly problem in the house.
For some reason we have had a bad fly problem over the last few weeks. As it has got colder outside we have had more and more flies inside. After wrapping my knuckles several times in walls and doors I decided to invest in an electric fly killer. Whilst looking at those I spotted these fly swatters for a very low price with free shipping. I ordered there and then. They arrived within 2-3 days and within a few minutes of hardcore fly swatting my house is now fly free. Quite therapeutic and very effective. Because of the low price and other reviews I had very low expectations but I am still on swatter 1. You would have to be very heavy handed to break these. Very easy to recommend this product based on price and quality.

Good for what they are advertised for
Cheap and broke easily. Still used, well some of them. But they brake very easily if you catch them on anything apart from a fly.

Bit flimsy.
Bit flimsy - hard to control.

Bit flimsy but ...
I now know why these come in packets of 5 - they're made of a stiff plastic and therefore break easily if you connect with a surface as mine did the first time I used it. Otherwise, they're OK and worth the money I paid. So I would recommend as long as the buyer is aware that they're a bit flimsy but I suspect that all swatters these days are similar.

3.5 out of 5
These are 5 fly swotters just over 12" long in different colours made of plastic.I bought these swotters based on reviews. Sadly within ten minutes of using these swotters, 2 broke in my hand on impact. I was very unimpressed. However customer services apologised and refunded me in full, no questions asked. Hence the 3.5 stars.
