Good quality.
Good quality gloves. Should last a while if I only use them for their intended purpose. Would have liked something built into my trigger hand to cut down on the felt vibrations from my big old saw.

Remember "the chainsaw is not your friend"
Arrived today and out of the wrapper to use with my chainsaw. I feel that I have chanced it enough using cheap workman gloves. No I have never had a chain break, necessitating the safety guard on my chain saw come into play and I hope that I never do, but if I did, I think that the £14.00 I paid for this item would represent money well spent! So what are they like? Firstly they are comfortable to wear and are quite soft to the touch. They fit well and have an elasticated wrist to ensure that they stay tight on your wrist and therefore keep them tight on your hands. I particularly like the texture of the leather, which appears to "bond" well with the ABS handle on my chainsaw, but it seemed to work well with metal too; basically you don't need to grip hard to be confident that the chainsaw will not slip. Only the left hand glove is padded and I assume contains the protection should the chain break and whip over the guard, so they are for right handed users only; in saying that, so is my chainsaw! I cannot comment on how good they are at preventing damage, but as our tree surgeon had the same gloves and he uses a chainsaw more frequently than I, that's good enough for me. One last thing, I believe that they are very durable and they last a professional for a long time, so I think that they warrant careful handling and I could see them outlasting me and my chainsaw.

I like these gloves
Thick leather on the left hand protects from chair saw accidents on the hand should have got them sooner as my old ones are no redundant. Good value for the money and good quality leather good stitching tough rebust protects the left hand from accidents. Would recommend these rebust gloves. I have to say these are a must for anyone who uses chainsaws from gardeners, tree surgeons, diyers alway make sure your safety equipment is in good condition it may save your life. I have to recommend these gloves will buy another pair for work.

Near misses with a mini chainsaw makes this glove type a must-have, as the alternative is really bad. I trust it will do its job if/when needed, but won't try it on my hand to find out! However, the solid protection is only for the top of the hand, but not the fingers; which are vulnerable the most. If the ultimate protection is your goal, then look for finger hard cover as well. Otherwise, the glove is very high quality, looks nice, does not impact your garden activities and does give confidence.

After a chainsaw mishap involving a hand surgeon and an overnight hospital stay I was very happy to receive and start making use of my new gloves. Very happy and so is wifey.
