The charger that came with my headset was unreliable crap. This what meta should of sent with the head set.

The headset is a very significant improvement over the quest 2. The ergonomics and clearness of text on the display are such that is is approaching monitor level clarity. Almost there but not quite. I have nreal air glasses, the text is significantly more blurring in those glasses. However, they sit on the bridge of my nose, so there is less weight on my skin. When I wear the quest pro, I get a red mark on my forehead that sometimes takes a few hours to go away! I am actually concerned about getting a permanent mark on my forehead, can anyone tell me if this is possible? If I have to leave me house, I will go out with an ugly red mark on my forehead, the size of a thumb, a friend of mine asked me what happened and he was really concerned. Note that this also happened with the original oculus wired headset (I already forgot the name of it). I would say for a head mounted display that you want to be able to view text in, this is the best I've seen so far, I think. One seriously annoying thing is that if you watch a twitch or other full screen video within the browser, there is no way to move the window down far enough, even if you use the oculus view centering button , it is still too high even when I look down at the ground and reset the position of the full screen video window. I tried resetting the guardian settings, etc, there appears to be no way to resolve this. The you tube app functions brilliantly, you can easily move and resize the you tube video as you want to, I wish the browser had the same degree of flexibility. The adjustments are really well done which allow you to get the clearest and most comfortable picture possible. Now, the terrible parts. The included charging dock is horrendously bad. You have to have a perfectly flat surface of appropriate size to use it. For example, the floor of my apartment is covered in heated flooring, and it won't work on the flooring and there is no room on my laptop desk. I have to put it on the floor in the hallway in order to charge it. Today, I just gave up and plugged the cord directly into the headset. However you cannot charge the controllers without spending 30-60 seconds every time trying to align them to charge in the dock. If you want to get the headset and both controllers perfectly aligned so all three can charge, budget 2 minutes and breathe deeply so as not to get frustrated. I ordered the compact charging dock, hopefully this will be easier to use. I wouldn't recommend using the included dock under any circumstances. Another issue, for some reason the headset is always 10-15% battery charge whenever I want to use it. Reminds me of my nintendo switch. Even though I turn it off when it has a full charge or still 80 percent remaining, next time I want to use it I have to charge it first. Maybe it is somehow sensing it is being put on a head and it turns on? I wish there was a way to make sure it stays off for sure. I don't have an explanation for why the charge is always low whenever I want to use it. The only solution I know of would be to keep it constantly plugged in. Oh and also the controllers had a 65% charge even though I only used the headset for an hour and the last time I used them they were near full charge. Beats me as to why. For $1500 I should be able to position a twitch full browser video screen anywhere I want to and watch it, instead of it being restricted to the position of a tv mounted too high on a wall where my eyes and neck get tired of looking at and it is uncomfortable. It should function like the you tube app does, and so should the browser for that matter. The browser window when not in full screen mode can be moved around and resized, but not enough. You should be able to move it around and resize it to anything and any position, just like the you tube app. I am giving it 3 stars because they did such a good job on the ergonomics hardware side, the bad points I mentioned really prevent me from using it as much as I would like. They are fixable via software and maybe the compact dock will work properly, so there is hope.

After owning the compact charging dock for only 33 days, only one side of the docking dock works. So, I can only charge once controller, this product is a waste of money. False advertisement.
