Great little toy
This is a really fun little toy, ideal for kids but still really fun for adults. It's well made and robust, and so far, mine has withstood plenty of crashes without sustaining any damage. The controlls are basic, the steering is full lock left or right, and the speed is either on or off, so for example you can't drive slowly round wide bends, but you soon learn to controll speed and cornering by quickly going on/off the steering and accellerator . The battery supplied is a small 3.7v rechargable (about the size of an AA). This is perfectly adequate for high-speed fun, although it can't cope on grass. The battery compartment is big enough to house bigger battery packs, (available on Amazon) and I have found that this improves performance as well as the length of driving time. Overall I would definately recommend this, whether it be for a young child or a fully grown adult, who, like me, didn't have this sort of technology when I was a kid.

A fund remote control car but the battery life could be better
Bought as a gift for a young tween and very well received. The car is plenty fast for a battery powered version and helpfully come with its own lithium ion power cell which negates the need for numerous packs of batteries for the car. You'll still need ordinary batteries for the remote.Good speed and range of control. It's pretty robust and suitable for outdoor use on a range of surfaces. The only real issue is the battery life which is pretty much exhausted in about 10-15 mins, you then need to recharge for a few hours. For the price it's a good toy and has a good feel and construction.Happy to recommend if you're content to put up with the run and charge time.

fast to charge, remote easy to use, and I love its durability and good quality for its price
So I Brought this for the grandchildren,Haveing 3 boys 1 girl I thought this would be a good choice,They all love it but now I may have to buy the red one to match..We found ourself in the garden haveing loads of fun, the battery in the car didn't take long to charge at all which was a bonus with impatient kiddies,Its of a sturdy construction, its been driven into walls over jumps and dropped buy a toddler and is still going strong, the only regreat I have is not buying 2 at the same time

It's not fast and the battery doesn't last long at all, 15 mins if you're lucky
Decently built and looks good, hand controller looks cheap but its functional, steering alignment on the car which is good, space for 4 X AA batteries under the car but for some reason there's only a single battery to power it, so as you can imagine it lasts no time at all...10-15 minutes max

Spend more, get a proper one
It is powered by a single AA sized battery running at about twice the power. The whole thing is massively underpowered such that you might allow a very young child to use it indoors but it is too slow to do jumps and stuff. The turning is more on off than analogue so that makes it harder for young kids to use well. Just pay an extra 20 quid or so and get something that actually works.

Cool car
Firstly this car looks really cool, it’s like a race car sand buggy and the weighty feel of it makes it look much more expensive than it is. I bought this for my little brother and couldn’t resist having a shot! It’s easy to control with good sensitivity and range, it does go fast so I’d advise using it in an open space. However whenever it did crash (wee brother driving not me!!) it kept going as normal after. For the money I’d say this car is the best I’ve ever used, it’s looks and goes like the real deal without the cost. Would recommend!

Low cost low expectations.
Have found the motor to be low power, it isn't particularly fast and torque seems low. The car will only run on hard surfaces and will not run on a lawn. The steering snaps to the left and right, forward and reverse is the same, it snaps to full speed forward and full reverse. At only £30, this is about what I was expecting.
