You could read lots and lots of business books explaining each and every aspect of building your business. Or you can read this book that takes the great ideas and points and combines them into one resource.My problem with growing my own business was I didn't realize what I didn't know. This book had so many, 'oh that will save time', 'I'd never thought of it that way', 'why didn't anyone tell me this sooner?'"You can either learn from mentors or mistakes"I'll add one more to that quote, sometimes you make mistakes and learn nothing because you think the idea doesn't work. This book has helped me go back and try ideas again that I'd failed with before because I didn't know the best practice strategy. I'd tried and assumed it just wouldn't work for my business.These ideas in the book aren't just ideas in a vacuum, they are supported by case studies, practical examples, and other notable quotable from industry leaders.I will be reviewing this book every 6 months as I continue to grow my business.A must have resource for any business owner or anyone thinking about starting a business. Do it right and learn from best practices, don't reinvent the whole wheel yourself.

Well this is Actually Michael Desrochers on his wife's account. I digress though. When it comes to business books most people think boring legal self help crap. When reading this book it has inspired me, but also giving me the knowledge and information needed in order to Thrive not just survive in life. Not only with my Finances but with my Family, Friends, Fitness, and most important my Faith and Fun. I recommend any book written by Clay Clark. This Is an awesome and amazing read you wont want to put it down

As someone who has read many excellent business books throughout his career before meeting Clay Clark and Marshall Morris, I can say there are many great books on business and how to start a business. However, there are exactly ZERO books better than this one. The Start Here book doesn't just provide you with the steps, but also the templates and platform you need to point yourself toward a pathway to success. The passion of the authors shine through and this is a book that should be the only textbook an business student needs during their education, whether in college or on ones own. With such an actionable book from start to finish, it is easy to give this book 5 stars and my only wish would be to be able to give it 10 stars. It is that good.

I've read several similar books: Scale, Michael Gerber books, Jack Welch's Winning, etc. I wish I'd just started with Clark and Morris' book. It has them all and more. Definitely worth the read. Also, check out their podcast. It's a great, funny resource. I also find their coaching incredibly valuable for the cost.
