If you put the headset on it's highest volume thru your phone, they can be isolating.

How well do these stay on? Would these be a good fit for running at the gym or would they fall off?

Does this have a mute button so I can mute/unmute from 10+ feet away?

On the right side of the headphones it has a button to turn it on off and go up and down. There is no mute button just arrow button to turn it down to mute . As per distance I feel like you can be in next the room and still be listening to your music sometimes even little more then one room 20+ . Compared to other brand name headphones these are my favorite. This is my 3rd set i been buying them since 2014 and not because they stoped working but I tend to lose stuff all the time. Before I lost them I held on to set for 2 yrs. I also had purchased the other model EP 650 and I feel that they are louder I think it’s because of the cushion sits right in your ear but for these they are flat in your ear still very good . I love them
