Great thing to have in kitchen and showing kids how to use it

A great fire blanket that is in a hard plastic case that can be fitted to the wall for rapid deployment. It is also approved to BSEN1869, which I verified by taking the fire blanket out to ensure it had the manufactures address on a label on the fire blanket itself. I saw this check on BBC Fake Britain so was very reassured knowing that it will work if I need to use it. The fakes I saw on the program did not work during their tests, so I wanted to make sure I selected a real approved blanket. Very happy with this genuine product. Hopefully I will never need to use it. The blanket provides peace of mind that it is available if needed.

I recently moved house and I bought this as part of my "hope for the best; prepare for the worst" plan.....The product is compact enough to sit in the kitchen, not be obtrusive in appearance whilst still sitting in a handy location should the need arise to use it; all in all I believe it to be a nice little product at a decent price.If, God forbid, I do have to use it I will post an update; hopefully never.

Yes, it works. Neighbour had a small fire, contained but with lots of smoke, they weren't sure what to do. I covered the fire completely with the blanket and left it there. The fire went out, the blanket had turned a bit brown but it put out the fire. I ordered a couple more immediately.

Ideal kitchen safety product for the home and family in case ever needed. Has the required safety certifications, so satisfied on its credentials for an emergency if ever required to be used. Well made and packaged, easy to fit on a kitchen unit or wall.

I guess haven't neee to use but my sister had a fire in her house and got paranoid it's a reasonable priced product and we should all have one for just in case

Has the appropriate kite mark and looks sturdy and fit for purpose, hopefully won't have to use it but better to be safe

Though I have not used this fire blanket it appears to be well made with the correct BSI Kite Mark that provides reassurance to effectiveness.Easy to store, I just hung it on the kitchen wall.
