I’ve tired others that are similar to what they provide in hospitals and found that those only work for about two minutes if at all. This one has a large stick on portion which actually does the job of waterproofing. The padded section in the middle keeps you from ripping off any dressings you might have over your chest catheter. Stands up to heavy movement and will remain waterproof for any length of time your shower you can possibly take. ( so long as you aren’t super hairy and it’s a good idea to wipe off the area you are going to stick it to)

These are perfect for coverings wounds or colostomys for shower. They work great with no leakage. The best that I have tired.

These work great to cover anything you need that can't get wet. In my case it was PICC line in my arm and other surgical areas that couldn't get wet. This worked great. A bit hard to take off I used paper towels under and then cut it off so the tape didn't hurt my skin taking off. It works great

Leaks every time I use it, really only works for very quick showers with very little movement. Used on chest for port.

I ordered the protectors with the center gauze. The keep my Zio patch completely dry, but it does get slightly damp directly under the border if taking a longer shower (may be sweat from hot shower). Either way, they did exactly what I needed them to do.

Does not seal well and therefore not waterproof especially around the edges. If you have a dialysis catheter DO NOT trust these to use in the shower!
