A very basic set
I quite like the set overall, it's great for travel, but the scissors aren't very sharp...

Very big for what it is
Amazon's "product dimensions" often include a lot of packaging, so I normally take them with a pinch of salt. The associated "Korbond threaded needle kit" is reasonably small (although it could be smaller) and easy to fit in a sponge bag; the 15-piece kit really is 3.2cm thick. That's badly thought through for the kind of thing you might want to take on a journey in case of emergencies - this is exactly the kind of kit that someone would want to fit into a corner of their holiday baggage, but it's big enough that it's not the afterthought it should be.The thread is wrapped around over-long tubes with wide hollow centres, and they neither tessellate, nor does anything else fit down the centre easily. The thimble is tiny, rigid but flimsy-looking plastic (rubber sides would let it pack down and also fit better). The scissors aren't a retracting/folding design despite being otherwise under-sized (though I assume they might be airline-friendly). Were any of the buttons completely transparent, they'd fit with any colour garment less obtrusively. There are some rattly squares of plastic whose purpose eludes me (edit: I've worked out they were supposed to be dividers in the box, but they'd shaken loose and were just sitting flat). Even the tape measure is a little bulky (although that it needed to be described as "analogue" amuses me - I'm fat, but even I can't make a laser rangefinder bend light around my waist). The box is much bigger than needed even allowing for all this. What's in there is more or less reasonable, and for some reason I can't find a "travel sewing kit" on Amazon that's not sized for someone expecting to spend their entire holidays on recreational dressmaking, so there aren't many alternatives. It's a bit of a wasted opportunity for anyone looking for something they can just leave in the corner of a sponge bag and not think about - it takes up half the space of a coke can, and that's inconvenient enough that it might not be there in the "I've gone to a friend's wedding and torn a seam, have I mentioned that I'm fat?" situation.I took the black thread (mostly I wear black), thimble (wedged onto the thread tube to stop it getting squashed) undocumented hemming tape and needles/pins and put them in my bag separately (I already carry scissors). Collectively they take up very little space; in the future I might be organised and put them in an M&S mint tin (edit: this actually worked quite well for one reel of thread, the hemming tape and the needles/pins/threading tool; the thimble and tape had to be stored separately). The remaining giant box can sit somewhere until I need the other coloured threads.

OUCH.
A little disappointed,I have to admit, but what did I expect for the price. The eyes in the needles are too small for the threader, the scissors would only fit a childs fingers and I had difficulty in unravelling the cotton. However, for the price,it seems a bargain.

Used to fix trousers
Used the kit to fix a small hole in trousers and was all I needed really, had a needle and was a good kit.

A good portable box
In this box there was all the stuff mentioned and It came in two as a minimum quantity but that was good as it was cheap for two of them. So overall it was good.
