Unbelievable for the money
I am truly impressed by the quality. I redid my kitchen and decided to replace a set of 15 year old Henkels. I bought 2 different Henkels sets and returned them both because they were terrible quality.I bought the block on the left from Costco, the right from Amazon. They look and feel 10x better than similar prices Henkels. They feel better in the hand, are sharper, heavier and sturdier, and the appearance is so much nicer. These are a great value and Iβm very pleased with them. Theyβre too new to comment on durability, so I will update post if any issues come up.

QUALITY YOU CAN FEEL
These are very good cleavers. I use them in my kitchen for cutting up things like watermelon, racks of ribs, big tubes of ground beef, whole chicken, bulk meat. They handle very well which is important as they are VERY sharp which means less chance of slipping and cutting me. They are balanced and have enough weight to handle big jobs. I got this set to coordinate with my Cangshan knife set. Great value. Highly recommended. Wash by hand.

I use these cleavers everyday and donβt use my knife set at all anymore. They are extremely sharp and useful with all vegetables and meat. Love them!

In a single word? Wowww... ππ»π
I have always been a fanatic for good cutlery, and this set definitely does NOT disappoint! Being an avid outdoorsman, I am also very particular with regard to the quality and usability of my cutlery. I like my blades to be like razors...As they say, a sharp knife is a safe knife. And that is true. Although it seems counterintuitive, it's the dull knives that are the dangerous ones, because you have to apply too much pressure just to cut through whatever you're working on. One wrong move or slip can spell catastrophe...This pair of cleavers have had their blades honed to a extremely keen edge... even to the point that I now prefer these to regular knives, when cutting pretty much anything... including simple vegetables for a salad. They also obviously perform well for most of my butchering needs...A very attractive set, too. And, the handles are super ergonomic. They feel so good in the hand, that they actually make you WANT to use them... more and more and more often. They are an absolute pleasure to use. Heck... I LOOK for excuses to use them! LOL.The modernistic, handsome storage-block finishes off this very stylish and appealing set of cutlery from Cangshan. A great value, too! Thus far, I am thoroughly pleased with this product... and have no problem with fully recommending it nor with awarding it FIVE stars... and TWO thumbs up! ππ»πππ»

An awesome set of knives for any aspiring chef
I don't know about you, but the Youtube shorts algorithm has been absolutely pushing me to become a chef. From videos of people cooking by a river to all-day smokes of various meats and intricately recreated dishes, I am now absolutely enthralled by all the cooking content and am desperate to keep up. My kitchen armory, though, is nowhere near what it needs to be to cook the way they do. So I decided to upgrade my knives and chose this set since it came with the core 3 knives every chef needsSo I'll give my individual thoughts on each knife, but suffice to say they are all high quality. You can tell immediately by the tang, which is the unsharpened metal that goes through the handle. Here you can see the metal goes all the way through the handle and to the end. This is absolutely crucial as, most knives have the tang end within the handle, creating a stress point for breakage and making it only a matter of time for the knife to just snap, which is quite dangerous.Chef's Knife: Your main, all-purpose knife. Perfect for cutting meat, veggies and pretty much anything else. It's long enough to make one-stroke through most anything and it's sharp enough to even foods that need to be thin. The handle can get a bit slick, especially if your hands are wet though, so be careful there.Paring knife: Honestly, I just use this for small things - grape tomatoes, mushrooms, celery, leeks, etc. It works wonders carving up small fruits and veggies when you don't need the full power of a Chef's knife. same worries about the grip with wet hands, but this knife is really sharp as well, so take extra care!Serrated Knife: This is your bread-cutter, your root vegetable wrangler and really the best knife for cutting anything that hard on the outside and soft on the inside without mashing it. The grip on this knife looks the same as others, but it actually feels grippier. Not sure why, but that's a plus!Overall the knives in this set are great for a chef of any skillset and are a perfect addition to one's kitchen Utensils. 4 stars!
