Ideal engine coolant anti freeze level tester
Ideal and simple anti freeze tester for engine coolants. I had no idea how this product worked but it was very straightforward to use and the discs are a clear indication of what protection levels against freezing the coolant in various engines had.It was reasonably priced, arrived promptly and the clear tube into which the coolant is drawn up into is not made from glass so is likely to resist breaking if inadvertently dropped or knocked. I didn’t test the accuracy of this system other than using it with ordinary tap water without any antifreeze and the tester correctly indicated 0 protection against freezing.Recommended item.

Quite misleading
The description states "hot or cold" so I presumed it measures the coolant/anti freeze capabilities against freezing or hot climates. However it only measures the freeze temperatures which is misleading. Apart form that the item is well built.
