T-Dongle-S3 ESP32-S3 TTGO Development Board with Screen Dongle 0.96 inch ST7735 LCD Display TF Card

Pretty neat little device, cheap to throw some nerdminer firmware on there and have some fun. It does have telemetry so you can see how hot it's running. It does run hotter than Lilygo's T-Display-S3 that doesn't have the shell around it, but you lose out on the convenience of this USB stick form factor. That being said, the extra Cs haven't affected its hash rate, matches the T-Display.

I've used two of them regularly for over a month now and I've had no issues. They can get quite warm when performing many calculations, but that is as expected. I use the display and WiFi functionality regularly and they have both worked well and with no issues.

I’d like to say there’s a steep learning curve, but after spending a few hours online doing some research, I got it working, and it’s awesome—so much in such a small package. Highly recommended for ethical hacking.

The hardware is really nice - esp32s3 with display and micro sd reader in a tiny package. This one came with the qwiic socket, which is nice for attaching i2c devices. Apparently the newer versions no longer come with the qwiic. The main problem is the "support" from Lilygo. The "User Guide" (if you can find it) is a joke that just basically points to the github repo. The repo has only a few example programs, and none of them compiled out of the box. You have to read all the repo "issues" to figure out that you need to downgrade the arduino esp32 board package to 2.0.13, and upgrade the TFT_eSPI library to the latest git branch, and tweak the config file. Don't follow other suggestions by Lilygo, as they are mostly out of date. So, it's a nice device if you already are an arduino/esp32 programmer, and don't need a lot of working examples.

Works good use 32 gb micro sd.

Lots of features for a simple device. Limited to sub USB 1.1 speed writing to the SD card via the usb. SDcard r/w is rather slow via WiFi as well. I’m not sure what the bottleneck is.

Perfect little device. I developed a piece of software for it, BluKeyborg, to work with smart phones password vaults as a keyboard Input Dongle (USB HID), and it is working perfectly!

cant flash certain stuff because of the display pins, theyre different than the default ones.
