Visiting grandma who has no wifi. using bt-fon. signal 1 bar; will this strengthen signal to my laptop so i can go online?

Try focusing more on grandma and less on the wifi...that should solve your problem

Does this work with Linux?

Yes. I received v3 which did not work with kali with the official linux drivers. This tutorial on a popular video hosting site helped me make it work in monitor mode on kali 4.18 "Kali Linux How To Enable Monitor Mode on TP-Link TL-WN722N v2/v3"

hi i have a sky router in my sitting room and signal isnt great in back upstairs of my house would this help boost signal on my pc ?

Hi Melanie. Increasing gain (eg this product) helps when the signal is weak by amplifying the signals going to your pc. If the problem you're having is not from weak signal but is from interference then the high gain antenna will also amplify the interference and you might not be better off.If your pc has 3 bars or better but is slow and drops out, then you need something else. If your pc has 2 bars or less then this will help you.I've used several of these products over the years (some with Sky routers) and I very highly recommend this brand.

Should i install it before or after installong windows diws 10

We installed it beforehand, and it worked perfectly (and still is well over a year later)
