This worked great outside for holidays.

For the money, its a decent deal. Received a lot of images to use for a variety of holidays. Easy to setup and the remote makes it wonderful. It does need to be rather up close for best images. Would need 2 to cover the entire front of the house.

There are slides and different colors for every holiday. Most have at least 2 different ones for each holiday to chose from. Nice long cord on it. Came with a stand and a yard spike. The cord is thin and easy to cover. So far, 10/10.

The descriptions were OK, but I discovered a couple of things that will probably have me sending it back.1. The green dots were great (something never mentioned in the description) but there's no way to control them. Always green and always fading in and out. So although that feature would be cool, it would be better to be able to change color and control mode.2. The projected pictures are also OK, but only 4 at a time. The slides are cumbersome to change. I wish there were 8 pictures to a slide (some projectors I've seen since to have 8 pix).3. The wave patterns were interesting, but I don't really need them (I have other ground lighting). Besides, they wouldn't cover the front of the house.So...controllable dots and more pix per slide. I'll keep looking but may have to return this.

Package came a bit beat up and was obviously returned and resold to me. There are no directions, and I’m having a great deal of trouble with the remote. I have not contacted the seller, so that’s on me. Not happy with the product or my purchase.

This is a great projector, especially considering the price!! The amount of different occasions that you can use this for justifies the price alone!! We just used it for our Halloween set up, and it was quite a hit!! Our house doesn't have the best place to set up a projector, but this still did awesome and really tied our decor together! I love that there are multiple options for patterns for the big "decoration" holidays (read: Halloween & Christmas). Another plus is that this projector and the power cord sat outside during a rainstorm, and nothing messed up at all!If you don't want to use the patterns, the different "Nebula" settings are beautiful and create a really cool atmosphere inside or outside! I've attached pictures of the nebula pattern inside my house, because it looked really pretty inside.This projector would get a solid 4.5 stars if it weren't for a couple of things.1. Without covering up the green light at the bottom, you do not have the option to turn off the green dots on any setting. This was my biggest issue with the projector, as I felt it didn't add to our Halloween decor, and I kept looking for ways to turn it off. I ended up taping a piece of cardboard over the bottom green light, and I ended up loving the way the patterns & the nebula looked without the green dots.2. The remote control didn't come with any batteries, and you can't control anything on the projector without the remote. This was a minor issue, but it was worth noting.3. The projector got turned around pretty easily at night with wind, but I will grant that this could have been operator error & I may not have locked it in all the way to the holder? If that's the case, it is a little tricky to make sure that the projector is locked in all the way to the holder.
