CAMELBAK Bite Valve Cover

It’s a little difficult to fit but worth it. It’s really good and makes the mouth piece safe from contamination.

Bought this for my wife for an old Camelbak hydration pack she uses - a perfect fit. Had to take the mouthpiece apart to fit as the cap fits between the mouthpiece itself and the connection tube but reassembled and working just as before - very pleased.

Its nice to have the bite valve protected and clean , but its fairly hard to get on, the best way would have been if they made it so you could have put the cover on first then the bite valve but thats not the case. once its on its stays so... good product.

Quite tricky to get on as others have said (making everything wet including the valve and tube helps), and it’s quite large once it’s in place, but it does the trick. I can’t help but wonder if it could be a bit smaller if it came integrated with a bite valve

I put an inline filter, an extra length of hose, an insulating sleeve on the last section and then this cap on so whatever water I put in and whatever the weather is doing, and if I drop the mouthpiece in the dirt, I still get clean, cool water to drink.

This is a must for a camelbak water bladder it keeps the end clean and free of dirt which is really good. I don't see why it's separate though should come with the camelbak.

Like the cover a lot. Exactly what I needed to keep the mouthpiece clean. Should come ready fitted. Not sure why it is sold as an extra. It is essential in my opinion.

I cannot think why the cover is not added as standard - really difficult to fit!

Das Valve Cover ist mit wenigen Handgriffen nach der Anleitung montiert, es schließt absolut dicht, und ich werde künftig kein verdrecktes staubiges Ventil mehr in den Mund nehmen müssen. Auf meiner letzten Wanderung hat mich Montezumas Rache heftig heimgesucht, der Grund dafür lag nach meiner Vermutung am unsauberen Mundstück. Ohne eine dicht schließende Kappe wie diese lässt es sich kaum vermeiden dass das Mundstück dreckig wird, wenn man den Rucksack abstellt oder irgendwo anlehnt hat es immer Kontakt mit unsauberen Flächen. Es reicht schon, wenn auf einer unbefestigten Straße ein Auto an einem vorbei fährt und man steht in einer Staubwolke, der Dreck ist dann natürlich auch auf dem Mundstück. Jetzt nicht mehr!

Compré el protector para una mochila Camelbak Dart, la cual utilicé en una carrera (Spartan Beast) con una gran cantidad de obstáculos con agua, lodo y tierra. El protector cumplió 100% con su objetivo y evitó que la boquilla se ensuciara. Cuando se cierra el protector, es difícil que accidentalmente se abra, lo cual ayuda mucho si requieres hacer otras actividades deportivas además de correr. Me pareció un precio justo y la entrega fue en excelente tiempo.

Malheureusement, ce n'est pas le cas. Il suffit de retirer le caoutchouc : la Big Bite Valve, et, de positionner celui-ci sur le plastique à découvert, puis, remettre la Big Bite Valve et là vous avez un bouchon fiable tant que l'on ne tire pas trop dessus. Car rien ne le retient si ce n'est la fameuse Valve & son effet de succion. A noter qu'il s'agît d'un plastique mi dur mi souple.
