My first impressions are that it's a lounge chair. I did not expect the cushion to come with it but it did. I'm not going to use it unless maybe to nap on camping or something. I think it will make a solid cot. So maybe more than just a lounge chair. A couple of the pictures on Amazon suggest it's wider than it is. Either they have a little person sitting in it or it is photo shopped. It is not some huge wide thing. The size specs are accurate though. It's just about the same size as a typical lounge chair you would find by any pool. I think it's better built. Sturdier for its camping cot purpose. Double stitched or better throughout.My only complaints, and this could be because it's a cot, is that the surface is connected the entire length so you cannot adjust the angle of the headrest portion while sitting on it. You know like at the pool you might raise up a little bit and pop it up or down. That is not happening because your weight is stretching the material and will encourage it to pull up. Also the teeth do not catch automatically. They are much tighter fit than that which may lend itself to being sturdier as a result. If you are sleeping on it I doubt it's going to pop out of position easily. To reposition the angle you will need to get up and you will bang the teeth in to set it in place. But once you do, its not going anywhere.The mattress is soft and thick and it may be breathable but I'll save it for sleeping vs trying to lay out and sweat on it. It does not feel like it would be enjoyable getting it sweaty wet. I've used it for two days now with the only issue being the difficulty raising and lowering the headrest area. But again it may very well be a bonus come cot time, which I do see myself using it for that purpose and I'm not using it by a pool where I might want to change it a lot.

I think this is going to work for me. The picture makes the pad look way more lush that it is so I plan to put extra padding on it. I'm sure it will beat sleeping on the ground. And I like the 4 positions so I can sit up in my tent and read or write.

we put this in the room for guest when they need to stay over we have not had any complaint yet. my sister-in-law loves this thing and has sense bought one for her house.

Hello. I’m back for a follow up as promised. Today, Monday Feb 27 2023.I’m pleased to report I received the pillow topping as promised. It has been some time but they came through. Thank you Amazon for following up. Thank you Supplyer. Im good now…….Why. I wanted a simple easy to use Cot for visitors that may come to my little farm.How. I ordered the cot thinking it was a lot of money for a simple cot with topper and little pillow.What. The cot came quality is a little disappointing but that's the chance you take ordering on line.When. After the box with cot came I opened it with the thought, box is a little slim considering. There was no mattress or small pillow. I'm truly hoping another fat box comes with the rest of my order in it. If it does I will come back here and correct this feedback. If this does not change then I have been jipped. The pictures on Amazon are brilliant all blue sky's and sunshine. But things may not be what they seem.I'm not disgruntled just disappointed. Its bad enough having to accept poor quality but incomplete order is just the cream on top of the disappointment. I will keep the cot because I need it. The taste in my mouth is hard to swallow. But I will and move on. I will come back and say if the topper arrives.

Chair arrived sturdy & undamaged but without its mattress. Seller’s customer service was very quick to send out the missing mattress. The chair is sturdy & easy to fold. The mattress is the weight of a double thickness puffy comforter with one side microfiber & one side plush minky. It’s much lighter weight & less substantial than most will think of as a mattress or even most outdoor chair cushions but it does soften the cot/chair. I plan to use it as a pillow-topper over a camping mattress or Thermarest which will make sleeping on it more comfortable. I would also say to pay attention to the listed dimensions. The photos, to my eye, make it appear wider & longer than it feels.As for possible improvements: The foot portion does not lock & can fold down easily when shifting during sleep. I’ve managed this by blocking it up/open with a board or wooden wedge. I’d encourage adding a locking mechanism similar to those on folding tables that would keep the foot up except when you choose to put it in recliner position.

I got this because I have back issues and wanted to join my guests on the porch. It’s wonderful! Highly recommended.

Very confortable

The padding is not enough, which makes it less comfortable. I am purchasing another pad in hopes to have a better sleep experience!
