Faith In Nature Grapefruit Soap 100g

First off to say I love this product, the smell and the feel on the skin are lovely, but after looking at the ingredients in more detail I was alarmed to find that palm oil derived ingredients are on the list. I queried this with Faith in Nature and they indicated that the small amount of palm oil derived ingredients conform to the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). So then I looked into RSPO and Greenpeace indicates that it is quite corrupt and is still not really doing anything to prevent huge scale production. I would gladly pay more for a product that does not have any palm oil in it as there are more expensive alternatives. With the relatively low price point of this product, the economics probably don't work, but I would contend that by having a palm oil-free badge would increase sales from other like-minded customers.

HA!! Orange scent?!? Well! The bar I received must be as old as dirt! NO SCENT WHATSOEVER. Smells bland. Only positive is it lathers well. I did get a film like feeling when rinsing off though. And I do like the efforts we all need to make to do right by our planet, which earns a star. But I will NOT be repurchasing and I CANT recommend.

On first opening, the scent is really lovely. It only lasts a short time, though. It now smells like nothing but unscented soap, and is fairly drying.

I have had grapefruit scented soap before, and loved it, but this is not only entirely without scent but it doesn’t lather to any degree at all. Extremely disappointed, so zero stars.

I bought several of these as they were a very reasonable price. But let that be a lesson. I got a purple stain on my bath the size of my bum plus a purple scum mark around the bath. I spent about £30 on different stain removers. The last one got most of it out. The first made no difference at all. God know what is in this soap but do not use. I have thrown away all the products I purchased from this brand. DO NOT USE

Plus - Smells great, recyclable packaging Cons - Leaves your skin seriously dry. Probably the worse I've ever tried. Won't be making this mistake again.

I was laughing for minutes when it arrived. I recently started on my journey to zero waste or at least reduce plastic coating. The description of the item and the picture of it (a bare bar with paper wrap) suggested that they also care about the environment.. And it arrived well wrapped: The soap bar had the paper wrap.... And it was put into a thick plastic bag... Which in turn was put in a huge plastic bubble envelope... 😂😂🤯

Has absolutely no grapefruit smell at all, very disappointing!

Nice scented soap.

Soap feels silky but has very little scent. I ended up throwing it out.
