I bought this crimping set a while back and it works great! It came with some other connections as well. I have used it many times. The quality in this tool, I find to be good for my use.

The tool didn't crimp 1.5mm ferrules properly, but no big deal I thought, there's the adjustment screw that I could loosen and increase the crimping setting. I used the proper bit, but the screw head stripped right on the first try. It does crimp, haven't tried the biggest sizes yet, but it's still a bummer that something goes wrong right on one's first use of the tool.

I was building a DIY solar system and the inverter called for the use of ferrules to make the connections. I didn't want to void my warranty so I decided to jump on Amazon and purchase the crimp tool and some ferrules. While searching I came across this set that had the crimp tool and the ferrules and decided to order it. Once it arrived I went to use it and it worked great on the 10awg and 6awg wires but the 8awg would not fit and about 30% of the crimped ferrule just slid right off. The tool heavy duty and perfect but the ferrules that come with the set are not that great. I suggest getting the tool only and purchasing your ferrules separately.

So Glad I found these a game changer in Wiring 12 volt where you want to avoid a possibility of wires touching each other. Install is super easy and the end results look CLEAN

The tool seems well built. Or at the very least, plenty good for what I need. I suppose in all other ways, they are about as good as one can buy if not using every day for work and need just for around the place. Honestly, they might hold up fine in a professional work environment too. They seem fairly sturdy.

Crimper worked smoothly when I crimped a 5 AWG ferrule on 4AWG wire. I had to use the relase inside the two handles because 4 AWG is oversized for it, but am just proving its strength. a 5 awg ferrule will fit very snugly on 4 awg wire. You can cut off the plastic later to fit it into a charge controller etc Very nice assortment of ferrules. Clean, orderly packaging of ferrules with clear text for quick recogniztion of ferrule sizes.

Worked fine. My only issue is ferrules were a little short for what I needed.

Very good item and excellent But only issue is that most of FERRULES supplied in the box is not my intended sizes There should be an option to buy the size we require Otherwise its an excellent product

Does what it’s supposed to do

The tool works well. It struggles a little with the biggest wire but otherwise crimps nicely. There are a good set of ferrules in the package. Lots of each kind and full size selection for my usage. I used mostly 10g for solar hookup but had some down to 6g.
