Fits like a glove - necessary in high wind areas. In this area, hurricane force winds have shredded 3-4 'predecessors,' and a new evaporative cooler required a new cover. Heavy duty materials fabricated in exact dimensions slipped on like a glove, providing excellent protection against the elements.

This cover has lasted 2 winters and is beginning the third. It is in great shape as each spring after the snow stops I let it thoroughly dry, use my air compressor to blow off any dirt or residue, and store it in a plastic tote in my garage. I would buy it again and again.

I only just installed this AC cover so I cannot confirm its durability, sturdiness or overall quality - thus the 4-star ratings on these aspects. However, simply unfolding and installing the product, it appears to be very well constructed and gives me a positive view of lasting durability. It was easy to install be slipping it over the unit and aligning the rear opening for my utility hoses and connections to pass through. I like the velcro closing of this opening to fit tightly around the utility connections. The drawstring at the bottom hem pulls the bottom edge to fit tightly around the unit. The fit was perfect for my unit. I recommend this product.
