Interesting book,with very interesting characters, very enjoyable.

Getting back to Dove Pond. What a treat. These books are a fun read. If you read any of the other books than thus is a natural pick for your next read. I just wish the next book was coming out sooner. Lol

This book in the series was just okay, sort of tedious. It is definitely missing the magic of “The Book Charmer”, both the family magic and the reading magic. I basically didn’t like Ella very much and you knew Mark took the book from the beginning, so that ruined the story. I sure hope that Tay’s story is more magical.

Loved this story. Ella has issues but is an amazing individual – with a special talent for baking. A REALLY special talent. Gray is her “hero” but like Ella, he has very deep issues that have impacted his whole life. That is the connection that started their (young) friendship and grew with them.I can’t begin to retell the story, you should read it because it has heart, heartbreak, betrayal, friendship, and most of all...love. Redemption. And a crazy online presence! A mark of a good author is that they make you feel deeply about their characters and I have to say, I do feel “deeply” about Gray’s relatives.Touching, fun and twisty story – with an “Adorbs” Highland cow! – that I read in a day. Recommend this book and the series.

The third Dove sister gets an installment. She has to correct a past mistake in order to rid herself of some suspicious frosting that keeps appearing. Can't wait to see what comes next for the other Dove sisters.

This was such a good story. I really liked these characters and the plot. It's difficult to let yourself love when you've lost much in the past, but that's what Ella finally does with Gray. I can't wait to read the next installment of this series from this truly talented storyteller.

I enjoyed the return to Dove Pond and Ella's return. It's an easy read with humor, romance, friendship and drama.

I loved this series of books and the characters in Dove Pond. I hope Karen Hawkins is writing the next book in the series.

Jeez- couldn’t wait for it to be over. Like eating too much sickly sweet cake ( and the main character Ella is supposed to be a dress size 12 despite eating virtually nothing but baked goods?..)- leaves you feeling nauseated after a while. The plot line was an interesting premise, but the book was at least 40% too long. The story is too bland- like eating hospital food with no seasoning- not enough drama and really- people heat liquid just with their emotions or get perfect cake icing on their limbs in bed…? Now THAT would really cause a media storm!
