Ecozone Magnoball Anti-Limescale Ball

Does it work? Not a clue. Haven't had any issues with our washing machine so let that be a testament! The quality is decent. This recent purchase was a replacement as the last one broke into pieces, which we'd had for a while. I will be buying a second for our dishwasher at some point too. Easy to use - just chuck it in with your washing. No odour from the ball and also not from our machine. Value for money was questionable initially as it's a hard to measure benefit. But as the machine hasn't had any limescale issues and it lasted as long as it did, I suppose it's good value.

Definitely helps with limescale in my washer however i have noticed that after a while its started the open in areas leaving the magnet inside starting to come through the gap so ive had to purchase another one ans dispose of the old one. Its a shame to have to replace within a year. Hopefully this one doesn’t do the same.

Bought this because we were going to start using a limesvale product such as calgon, but didn't like it idea of using chemicals all the time, and cost would eventually add up. For a one off cost, this product seemed like a much better option, especially as it is advertised to last numerous years. So far we have used it on every wash, and I have not seen any signs of damage on the product or to any of our clothes. It simply sits in the drum, bounces round as it cycles, and does it's thing. I would maybe advice to remove it when you are washing delicate items such as Lacey underwear etc as the ball does bounce around the drum somewhat, but as it's totally smooth I can't see how it would catch or damage anything except through sheer pounding. Overall very happy, time will tell if it is truly preventing limesvale build up!

I've been using these magnoic (mshballs for many years now, as I've always lived in hard water areas. Soft water areas it would be pointless using them. I use them with other products to prevent the build up of limescale. They are great value for money, and have a life span of 5 years. Towards the end of their life span the balls begin to loose their shape. That's a warning they need to be replaced. I have 2 if them, and they are bright pink in colour. One I place in the basket if my dishwasher, and the other is placed in the drumb of the washing machine. As they are magnetic they mustn't be placed in the tumble dryer. Also they aren't suitable for very high temperatures(90 Saying that they are very sturdy. I like the fact they are a natural defence to combat lime.scale. These balls are very reasonably price, bearing in mind they last up to 5 years.

I've been happily using this product since january 2014, and I have noticed an improvement in the performance of my dishwasher when the magnoball is in there, and use it with my washing too. However lately it has split into two pieces, which causes problems as it sticks to the inside of the washer and the two pieces are harder to find, also I'm not sure if its as effective. Due to this I have contacted ecozone due to it still being within the 5 year manufacturers guarantee period, to see if I can get a replacement. To do this, I need to return the item to them by post (the costs of postage to be covered by myself) with a printed copy of the reciept and my personal details. They will then send me a new magnoball and I've been told (after mentioning the cost of postage) that I could be sent something to cover the costs of postage (not cash, but a product). This is ok although a palava, I do wonder if the process would have been simpler if I had purchased the item from a store where I could perhaps be given a replacement there and then. Something to consider!

Who knows? It’s remained in my machine for weeks… but what is it actually doing is unknown to me. I know what it is ‘supposed to do’ but I see no signs of scale on the ball what so ever.

My dishwasher always has a build up of lime/calcium. I saw this on reddit in the UK. I googled it for the US and found this one. Ever since buying this one, my dishwasher has not has a build up. This is a great product becuase it also fills onto one of the spikes in the top shelf.

Usei na máquina de lavar roupa algumas vezes até perceber que também pode ser utilizada no reservatório do autoclismo o que melhora a limpeza da sanita deixando de ser necessário lavar frequentemente por dentro.
