12.55kg Bird Peanuts

just received and put these so called peanut into storage containers, the contents looked like the sweepings of the floor after the rest had been packed, not one whole nut just bits, we can not use these in our bird containers as they will just fall out, a complete waste of money,I have never had to do a negative report before but feel that this is just a ripoff,beware, not recommended!

As my sister and I in our different abodes get through a lot of peanuts in the winter months it the best way to buy. Being incapacitated the big heavy box is tough to handle. Very well packed though so no complaints. Obviously the tubs would be easier but the cost difference is substantial. If the birds squirrels did not eat so much there would not be a problem. Very decent quality and good value.

Not the greatest quality compared with what I have bought at local store but then significantly cheaper. And as it is for wild birds who proceed to break perfect unbroken peanuts into very small pieces I doubt if they care that some are already small. In fact they might give this 5 stars :-)

Very disappointed. The delivery took too long. When the peanuts arrived they were out of their shells. The birds appear not to like them. Normally I have to fill the containers every day whereas these are taking three or four days to clear. I have a lot of parakeets attending the bird table and they seem to like to de shell the peanuts. The picture looks like redskin whereas actually they have no red skins at all. I would only recommend these for pigeons who will eat anything.

Lots of mouldy peanuts and black peanuts and the birds and squirrels were not as keen on these peanuts at all. The peanuts are stale and old stock. Not fresh. Not the ideal purchase because I was expecting to buy a product that was fresh and in date. I did not expect not out of date with blacken, mouldy peanuts within the bag and the peanuts to be very dry, stale and what seems like old stock. I have stopped using them and brought fresh peanuts from elsewhere. I would had asked for refund but it is not worth the effort of returning such a large order.

the first couple of times I bought these they were good quality large peanuts. the last two times they have been very small and mostly halved so easily falll out of the feeders and cause a hazard for young birds. delivery is always prompt but you never really know what you're going to get

Really pleased with the quality of these. I topped up my container and these peanuts were much bigger and looked much fresher than the ones I'd previously bought from the supermarket. I'm sure the squirrels, jays, great tits, nuthatches etc. will love these. I will definitely be buying these again!

The worst peanuts I have been supplied, ever. The nuts were curiously translucent, which suggests to me that when they were supplied they were already rotting. Other reviews show that, from time to time, this company supplies products which have not been inspected and are of very poor quality
