LomoDive Reel 150'

Came very quickly the next day! Have not used it yet but it looks very well made and substantial. Very good value for money as some silly people are paying MORE on E bay for second hand!!!

This is the second one I have had as it’s small and light which fits my needs.

Was my emergency spare until my main one broke, got me through the last 10 dives of the season, is a bit on the small side so lots of winding on the plus side on a dsmb accent I would be hard pushed for my dive computer to penalise me for fast accent.

Great VFM, and now been used for a few months without any problems.Highly recommended

This looked to be alright, and Lomo is at least a known brand, however first time of actually using it (to deploy a dSMB) the yellow part of the reel just split apart from the plastic with line going everywhere. I watched my student do this and they were using it entirely correctly, clearly just crappy plastic.

Does the job well

As expected, good bit of kit. Good value for money. The true test is yet to come. I have to dive with it. Will update after first use.

Firstly, I like LOMO products, they seem to be good quality and good prices, but a word of warning about this reel. The 'trigger' or ratchet release, pivots on a bolt that has a washer on it. This washer sits in an 8mm diameter recess in the trigger and covers a 6mm hole for the screw to attach it to the body of the reel. My reel came with a washer that must have been all of 6.01mm in diameter, it felt fine when playing with it at home, but went through the hole it was supposed to be covering on the second time I used the reel whilst trying to send up a dsmb from 20 metres. It's not a massive safety issue, the reel still works but without a ratchet at that point. I brought the pieces home, realised what the problem was and have replaced the small washer with a more suitable 8mm one that fills the hole perfectly. A bit of threadlock for good measure and away you go. Check yours, it may be alright, but I'd take a second look at that washer if I were you.

Devidoir utilisé pour parachute de plongée. Modèle assez compact avec bon rapport qualite-prix. La corde fournie est un peu faible mais ça passe. Système de frein pratique mais à voir à l'usage.

habe das Reel für einen Freund bestellt. Das Produkt ist klein, handlich, liegt gut in der Hand. Auch die Rückholfunktion und Sperre funktioniert einwandfrei. Jederzeit wieder.
