Its a $60 radio that does what it says it does but don't expect more than a $60 radio!
Lets get something out of the way first, this is the cheapest car head unit with Android Auto and Apple Carplay you can get in a 'single din' package as of writing this review that doesn't require you to enable USB debugging, doesn't just 'mirror' the screen or otherwise require sketchy means of attaining those features. Its a $60 radio, if you try to buy a normal single din radio for $60 you will get a terrible radio, this radio is trying to do even more than a normal one for the same price as a bad one so /temper your expectations/.What does it do well?* It boots up very fast* The screen looks pretty darn good* The (Windows CE?) operating system is fairly snappy and easy to navigate* It has physical buttons with decent feedback* Installation is fairly straight forward, the manual is full color for wiring, etc* It came with a backup camera and external microphone for the full install, astonishing for $60Problems?* The Android Auto interface on the unit will randomly stop, go to the FM radio screen for 1-2 seconds then go back into Android Auto as if nothing happened, audio and such all goes blank while this happens, happens about every 30-35 minutes?* The USB power output on this head unit is abysmal to say the least, I have a Pixel 7 and my battery literally drains while plugged in most of the time, at best it doesn't lose any battery over 1 hour* The audio amplification is incredibly weak and prone to buzzing noise that matches how hard the CPU is working on things on screen at higher levels and you'll /really/ be using those higher volume levels* In bench testing the unit for a while I noticed that the back of it next to the harness plugs was getting /incredibly/ hot, the MOSFETS are attached to the cast aluminum back plate in this area and sink heat into it via some thermal paste and a plate that 'pulls' them against it.* Uses an Allwinner F133 series CPU, so you've only really got a weak RISC based CPU with 64mb of ram, its very cost oriented and there's nothing taking the 6~w TDP of this CPU into account when it comes to keeping it cool* The screen still had the plastic on it that was supposed to be removed, it was trapped and took considerable time to get it properly pulled out (and yes, it was disposable plastic, not adhered to the screen... not a polarizer, etc)* Even being single din, you might have fitment issues, I did, the screen is taller than you think it is in the pictures, my install was in a 1998 GMC K2500, GMT400 platform.* The built in microphone next to the volume knob is almost worthless, you /must/ install the external mic or anyone you are calling will suffer from incredibly poor audioThings I did after bench testing it and finding a lot of small engineering and manufacturing issues?* First, take off all the plastic, you may need to take various panels off to even do this and for the screen, good luck is all I can say depending on how yours looks when it gets to you* I put a small aluminum heatsink on the CPU with some application specific thermal adhesive and let it cure for a few days before final install* I took the back plate off, cleaned up all the thermal paste that didn't quite cover the whole MOSFET and put Arctic MX-4 on it because I just have a lot of that, found one of the screws for the plate holding the MOSFET to the cast aluminum to be stripped from the factory so thats not cool* Used a 50MM USB fan plugged into the rear USB to give a little airflow over the back of the unit so it has a chance at living a bit longer in the confined space it'll be in* The wiring is a mix of aluminum and copper, pretty much all aluminum on the power and signal side with some copper on the speaker side, I used shrink-solder for all the wires since I didn't trust crimping or straight soldering and shrink on the mixed metals, more so with how incredibly /thin/ some of these areDoes it do what its supposed to do, is it worth it?Yes, it does what it says, the radio works and reception is pretty decent, it has all the features it advertises that I can find and they all work as far as I can tell in the day I've actually used it in my truck, its snappy enough and frankly it 'just works'. Its a $60 radio, it has all the audio problems I would expect from a $60 radio, the audio is weak, full of noise, has random clipping issues at higher volumes and generally can be described as "sucky" but you are buying a /$60/ radio that has Android Auto and Apple Carplay, its not a $300-600 head unit and if you want those two features thats pretty much its competition so if you want to complain about it you have no concept of the value this thing brings to the table. If you understand the limitations and you understand that $60 is $60 and thats /nothing/ for a car stereo head unit, you really want your phone linked to your stereo, you only have single din room, audio quality isn't the primary concern and you can live with the 'quirks', buy it right away, if you are the sort of person who isn't happy unless you get perfection at a steep discount, get real.I'll update this review probably if it konks out early or something but for the moment even with its issues I'm happy enough, I just need Android Auto so I can smoothly do hands free 'phone' stuff like navigation, music, and calls without having to literally grab my phone and have it be dangerous and stupid.

It was pretty easy to install
I did the wiring in my house with adapter to factory wiring. Pretty easy to do. I got it installed in the truck with ease. Lots of features for a 50.00 head unit. I like it so far, only issue is it comes on and boots up, then goes off them comes back on and works great after that. I am in contact with seller. Other issue was the screen protector was folded under on itself so it wouldn't recognize when you touch it so I peeled that off but would have rather had that on it. It was a thicker plastic and pretty far under the trim so I'm guessing that was supposed to be on it but whatever. Rear camera works great as well.

So far I'm impressed with it
I had problems getting it to turn on at first but after more diagnostics and help from seller I figured out i wasn't sending enough power to the radio with the yellow all the time power wire. Good sound and radio station selection. Bt works great it really has good range outside of the truck. Love the backup camera setup on the screen. I installed it with the backup lights and ran red wire off the video line in to the pink wire and it comes on automatic when I put it in reverse.

The radio Freezes
They charged me 5$ dollars for return the radio at UPS and I paid 120 for the installation of this radio. The radio freezes. I would like them to return my money and something for what I spent on installation.
