I was so excited to read this book based on a character from my favourite sport in one of my favourite places in the world. Whilst I generally enjoyed it, I was hoping for a bit more if I'm being totally honest.Freddie and Charlotte live priviledged lives although it's not without it's trials and tribulations. 10 years after Charlotte disappeared out of Freddie's life, she's back and in for a surprise - for both of them! An emotional and turbulent journey follows their reunion.I enjoyed the premise of the story but felt that the execution was abit 'fluffy' - I wanted more grit and depth as the characters felt a bit shallow to me.I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free ARC.
