Does the job.
I was thinking I'd need a new oven, till I found this, thought I'd give it a try, worked like a dream, I did it myself, it was easy, adhesive has stuck, it's sealed and so far so good for durability, I'm pretty sure this stuff could be used gor other things too, versatile, although, I havnt tried, great value for money.

Brilliant product
This is fantastic. Really easy to use and gave a perfect seal. I used this quite a long time ago now and I’ve had absolutely no problems with my oven door since then. Would highly recommend

DO NOT use this on your oven!!
Used this to reinstall inner glass panel onto the oven door. It stuck OK but once oven heated up it immediately filled the room with a chemical smell and smoke and fumes. This may be dangerous. Others have mentioned the same thing. My tube was quite thick and it's possible it was getting old too. I changed to the everbuild heat resistent silicone which specifically says on it that it can be used in ovens and there was no smell or fumes at all.

Hard to get out of the tube.
Well yes this product does what it's designed for however it was very difficult to get out of the tube to the extent that the crimped end of the tube almost burst open which would have caused a right mess. Perhaps it was just the tube I bought, although I have seen other reviews where the tube has opened up. In short you might be better off buying a similar product that fits a sealant gun especially if you need precise control of where the sealant is going.

Works very well. Easy to use
The inner glass panel on our oven had slipped so we bought this to see if we could reattach it. Has worked very well. It was easy enough to apply. I ran a generous bead around the edge of the opening and then pressed the glass into place. I taped it securely with duck tape and allowed it to set. When you first use the oven it might smell a bit for a day or two, but that passes. It’s done the job very well

A far cheaper option that replacing the oven seal for us
The rubber seal around the oven was hanging off. This meant the temperature wasn't holding steady in the oven, not an ideal situation. A replacement seal was not a cheap option. My other half stumbled upon this sealer when researching how to repair the door. We thought it worth a go as it wasn't expensive. It worked a treat to secure the seal back in the door. It also repaired one or two minor tears. I don't know what it will be like long term. But it seems to have done the trick for us. So I would say, if the rubber seal on your oven isn't too badly damaged, it's definitely worth trying this handy sealer first it could save you a bob or two.
