Vibrant colours feel very luxurious not washed yet, only downside both daughters want one so order more. Lightweight good lenght I'm happy with price. size I would say maximum size suitable 16.

I bought this to replace my short satin dressing gown, which I bought (from a different company) for a much lower price a couple of years ago. I really liked that, but it was a little small when I bought it, and with illness and the pandemic I've put on a little weight. This one promised it would fit a 54" bust and... I'm glad I'm not quite that voluptuous, I do not think it would have fit, but I am a size 16/18, with a generous bust (38DD/36E last time I measured), and this fits better than the last satin dressing gown I bought. Plus the length makes it more forgiving.I'm 5ft 3in and this comes down to slightly above my ankles, which is good for me. Would probably be three-quarter length on a tall woman.Although I would have liked it to be a little bit voluminous, the quality really is top notch. The last dressing gown I had has needed mending several times for torn seams, and I can already tell this one is of a far higher quality fabric and the seams are well made. I don't think there's any danger of it falling apart for a long, long time.Plus it just feels GORGEOUS on - positively decadent. The quality of the fabric and the work is what pushed me over to giving this 5 stars.I don't think I'd recommend this for someone larger than an 18, but if you're size 18 or less, this is a really lovely dressing gown. Worth paying a little bit more for.

I wore this to our school pyjamarama party. Everyone thought it was a super expensive silk one. I had so many compliments. I highly recommend and it is beautifully stiched and lined. Only thing I would say is that I am a solid size 14/16 and if I buy another one I may go for the slightly bigger baby beyond variety (they seem to come in different sizes when you look at finer deatails). It fits well but I am big busted and the waist feels a tad high. A bit of extra fabric would have been nice when I do it up. But I am still super pleased with it and hate taking it off. The colours are so muted and beautiful. Looks like it has come from Shanghai tang

Bought this and loved the feel of it and the colours are beautiful, however I am size 16-18 and 5’9 and it is bit small. The length not bad , i could live with, just past my knees, but doesn’t wrap round me like I would want a dreasing gown to do. It just about goes round me but the bottom gapes apart as not really big enough. So give it 4 stars cos love it. Loses a star cos doesn’t really fit plus size women

Excellent quality and finish. Bought in another colour as a present for sister.

Beautiful material both in terms of pattern and feel and is even made with french seams to prevent fraying. HOWEVER, the material has been skimped. It's not designed to wrap over - it only overlaps by an inch or two so every time you move it opens up the front That's fine if you regard it more as a cloak than a gown and wear pyjamas/nightdress underneath, but I found myself constantly trying to tug it closed. Hugely sad to send it back because the material was beautiful. Also of note, there is a seam which runs down the outside of the arm from shoulder to wrist. This is not a true "kimono" cut therefore - just in case you're feeling purist...
