Lids on tovolo box snap into place whereas Sumo ones don't. Feels a bit more secure. Both work well as ice cream tubs though.

I bought a Cuisinart ice cream maker and needed tubs that will store the ice cream properly. These do the job so well and look good too. They are robust, easy to clean and the shape makes scooping out nice round balls of ice cream so easy. Love them, have 2 and will be getting a 3rd in a different colour so I know which of my homemade creations is in each tub :))

After buying a ice cream maker, I decided to buy this as a way of storing the ice cream. It works really well and keeps the ice cream in a good state. I gather sometimes the ice cream can get crystals in it, which we have yet to see ourselves with this container.When combined with this ice cream scope, the Midnight Scoop - Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop. Which works by pushing the ice cream scoop along just one direction.Things to bear in mind, is that it came from Australia, so took quite a few weeks (4+ so be patient), may have come by ship?The company responded quickly to my queries about the whereabouts of the product, and the potential for delay.

I really liked the product. It had a long length for scooping and fits well in the freezer. The lock to get the top off is superior to other brands. As a product it's great but the postsge/delivery charge is extremely expensive to the UK.

These are well made and fit nicely in our freezer drawer. Perfect for a 1ltr ice cream recipe.

I make a lot of home made ice cream and have four of these tubs now. Having different colours means it is easier to know which ice cream is in which tub (as I don't want to write on them as my flavours change regularly!) The shape is perfect for scooping out of and they seem to take up less room in the freezer than a standard square tub. Easy to wash up too. They are double walled so this reduces the ice crystals on the ice cream, and the two parts separate easily for washing. The lid is a good tight fit.

These are great - I have two in different colours so it is easy to identify which flavour is in which. They seem to take up less room in the freezer than traditional ice cream tubs, and the shape makes is so easy to use the scoop and make nice curls or scoops when serving up. The double insulation means that you don't get the ice crystals in the same way as 'normal' tubs. Easy to wash up as the inside comes away from the outer shell. Lid fits really well. I think they are great.

Great for home-made ice cream, easy to wash and store really well and neatly. Much nicer and more durable in the freezer than tuppaware. One star off since I feel they're not great value at current price, would be five stars if less than £10 for sure
