lithofin KF Tile Polish 1L

Spent a long time looking for a solution to put on our porous quarry tiles and at last I found this! Easy to apply and really improves the look of the tiles!

If you accept the picture on the front may be a little optimistic then this stuff is great, our quarry tiles were filthy, been under carpet for decades, and are battered and the glaze come away, but they have a certain 'original feature' charm which, with a lot of scrubbing, scraping and the liberal application of this sealant has brought them up to a nice finish. As in our main hall they are getting a lot of traffic and cleaning and has held up for a good few weeks now. Will probably reapply occasionallly to keep up the seal.

Works

As I restored Victorian floor tiles, we were hoping for a shiny somewhat glossy finish. We used the Lithofin cleaner first, and then I had to apply three coats of this finisher. It took that number of coats to get a patchy satin kind of finish. I do think this is a quality, easy to use product, but I am a bit disappointed with the finish.

Doing a bit of research, this came out the top item to clean old original tiled floors. I don't think the tiles in my new home had ever been cleaned correctly. Brings them up, but not as much as I expected, but I think that is just due to lack of cleaning over the years. Good product.

After a long struggle to find polish that can shine my tile effortlessly, I tried this one. Oh my what a polish my floor looks gorgeous and the floor is now 2 days old and it’s still shining😃….
