Kronenburg Handel 20058 Sturdy Hook Set for Hammocks Silver

Totally brilliant so far! I've had them for a week and with a lovely new hammock courtesy was eager to put it up. So here's my experience:1) The pictures lead you to think that the ropes and clips are possibly a bit flimsy. THEY'RE NOT! The pictures don't do them justice. They're robust, sturdy and substantial. The clips are about the size of my hand which should help anyone looking put these pictures into perspective.2) I also read a review about lack of instructions and another saying it was complicated. In my view this is so simple you don't need instructions. You'd spend longer reading them than just sorting it out which took me all of about 2 mins. It comes with a height guide which I found really really useful. Without that I would probably have been forever adjusting it and using trial and error to work out the right heights. So if you're new to hammocks, I'd recommend arm yourself with a tape measure and use the guide to figure out what heights to suit what you're hanging it from. As for complicated? If you're reading this and thinking "But I'm not that practical" don't let lack of confidence put you off. Its such a good product I'd just find someone who can help you out if you're worried. But as I say, it really is pretty logical.3)Once up its pretty easy to adjust.4) The advantage of the clips being nice and big is that it's easy to take the hammock up and down should you want to save your hammock from the rain. In fact It is so easy that I'm ordering another set so I can move the hammock into different sun positions around the garden!!Despite realising I sound like a sales person for these clips (I'm not!), I just only have good things to say about it.

Be really cautious with this product. It doesn't give a working load but similar products work to about 18stone max. If you're going to use this with a large hammock be aware that 2 adults is likely to exceed the load! I found this out to my cost when the rope split on the metal adjustment guard n we hit the concrete below. Very very painful!! It was only about the 8th time we'd used it....so despite being a fair product please be aware!!!

I found this product a very useful thing as my daughter had got a hammock for the summer. The hooks were very easy to set up and are very sturdy. I did want another set of these hooks for a spare, but am annoyed I cannot get them again. I hope the matter is resolved soon so that may be able to get another set. On the whole, this item was very good and useful and I would recommend that you buy it.

They do the job.

The rope is actually more sturdy than it appears in the picture. No issues to hang a double hammock between the trees. Very happy with the quality of the product. It is very easy to use as well. Just cycle the hook end around the tree trunk and hook in the loop end of the hammock. You can also adjust the length very quickly. Looking forward to enjoy the peace and tranquillity in the garden more provided the British weather allows it:-)

We bought 3 hammocks and hanging chairs this summer. We purchased a few ropes (mostly 'Amazonas' brand) @ around £10 each.When I saw this set of TWO ropes for the same price as a single rope - that appeared to be the same product, I instantly though we had been overpaying for the others.--------This set of two ropes are described as 'about 3m length'Unless you undo all the knots, each rope is actually 'about' 2.5m long.The description also states that these are 'sufficient for hammocks upto 200kgs'.But it is unclear if that means each rope can cope with 200kgs or only 100kgs each. There was no documentation included with ropes regarding its specifications.Aside from them being too short, we also found that they were quite 'springy' and thinned out during use - something that didn't inspire confidence regarding its tensile strength. ...Perhaps they do continue to stretch and WILL reach 'about' 3m length ...just before they snap??No problems with the Amazonas brand ropes - which is what we've reordered again after returning these.

Bought these, as I had brought back a beautiful hammock from Mexico and trees to put it in between, but no idea how to hang it. It did take a bit of working out, watched some videos on youtube to help me work it out, but it is actually very easy and no knots required.

Great product I thought it would be micro cord for some reason but it's not. Good and sturdy, round turn or two or three round tree and two half hitches and you're sorted. Easy to adjust. Can bring hammock in easily with shackle fastening. Perfect. Both my husband and I have been in the hammock and apart from being very close to the ground it held our weight easily. Also easy to adjust as the new hammock and ropes stretch.

Ich mache mir das erste Mal die Mühe, eine Bewertung zu schreiben: Mein Sohn (4; 20kg) und eine Freundin (5; ebenfalls ca 20kg) haben zusammen in der Hängematte gespielt und gemeinsam, etwas doller (wie man es eben mit 4 kann) geschaukelt. Das Seil hat sich dabei an dem Metallteil kaputt gerieben, bis die Kinder damit abgestürzt sind. Ich habe das Seil verknotet (bin von einem ärgerlichen Zufall ausgegangen), jetzt ist es allerdings an dem anderen Seil, ebenfalls gerissen. Bei ganz normaler Benutzung. Also: Es zerstört sich selbst und Ich weiß nicht, woher die guten Bewertungen kommen. Zum Glück ist den Kindern nichts passiert.

Ho seguito le istruzioni per il montaggio, ma le corde si sono segnate fin da subito. Io non consiglio l'acquisto.

Halten Bombenfest und tragen mindestens 200kg (mit mehreren Personen ausprobiert)
