Aunt Jackie's Curls and Coils Oh So Clean Deep Moisturizing and Softening Hair Shampoo for Natural Curls, Coils and Waves, Enriched shea Butter, 12 oz

Purchased shampoo and conditioner together on the recommendation of a friend. Both products left my hair clean, soft, and fragrant!

Lovely alternative if you can find Ors Olive Oil Shampoo. It washes out even the heaviest of butters/oils out of your hair with one or 2 go's. Loved it.

I've used this shampoo for almost 2 years, personally at home with my family, and with my loc clients. I like this shampoo (as well as other Aunt Jackie's products), because it cleans hair wonderfully, creates loafs of suds, leaves hair soft and moisturized! I generally do a double wash for my loc clients, and I'm always amazed how well it cleans the hair after the first wash. It's one of my favorite shampoos to use before giving myself a silk press. It is clarifying but doesn't dry my hair out like other shampoos that clean hair well, but also strip it. I've used it on tbe various hair textures of my family, from 2b/2c to 4c and it works for us all. Because it doesn't strip hair, computing dryness, it also doesn't cause my kiddos tangle prone hair to knot or tangle worse. It doesn't have "slip" like other shampoos, but I also find those that do have slip are more hydrating and don't clean as well as this one does. Kind of a catch 22, you cant have both. This is a great shampoo to use when you're taking out a protective styles like braids or crochet styles. It combats buildup, dirt and oil very well! I am a fan of aunt Jackie's because they are affordable and easily accessible products that work! I highly suggest the rest of the linen, especially the "fix my hair" recovery deep conditioner, the curl la la cream leave in and the green hydrating leave in conditioner.

I was shocked at how my hair was after the wash. I have thick and fluffy 3a hair and struggled with hard water issues for years. I tried so many shampoos and used each one til the end. I figured as I’m getting older, that’s just how it is. Well, I thought maybe my hair was thinning that’s how frizz free and soft my hair was after the wash. Literally baby soft. I have never had hair this soft and shiny. It’s a vibe for sure. I definitely recommend. I know they say you don’t need lather, but it was lathering up and removing residue after just one wash and I typically have to wash twice with so much shampoo and with this it was just one wash with a quarter size amount. Go for it you won’t be disappointed!

I have finicky low-porosity 2C/3A hair that hates most protein and reacts terribly (flash-drying, wet frizz, instant tangles) to 99% of the shampoos I've tried, seemingly regardless of whether they have sulfates or are labeled "gentle," "moisturizing," etc. My go-to shampoo was recently discontinued, so I've been trying lots of potential replacements, and the Oh So Clean is the only one that does NOT dry my hair out or turn it into an instant bird's nest of brittle tangles. It's actually gentle and moisturizing enough that I can use it for detangling, and the brush goes through my hair like butter. Unfortunately, it does not leave my hair feeling clean afterwards, even with double-washing. I think this is probably due to my hair being low-porosity and so finicky about ingredients. I ended up having success with the Come Clean shampoo from the Kinky Curly folks, which is supposed to be on the harsher end of sulfate-free shampoos but my weird hair loves it, so I think my specific hair just needs a deeper regular cleanse. That said, if you have low-porosity, protein-hating hair but DON'T need a deep cleanse every wash (just something gentle between re-set washes), I think the Oh So Clean is a fantastic option.

I bought this for my daughter‘s curly hair that keeps getting big mats. This shampoo worked really well for her and she loves it. It makes her curls look healthier and she doesn’t have to wash her hair as much. Aunt Jackie’s shampoo has saved my daughter‘s hair.

Excellent Product. My granddaughter has very tight coily hair. Aunt Jackies work great to soften her hair. This is the only hair shampoo that I use on her hair now.

I'm getting my hair back after a lot of damage that I had to cut off, it's great at hydrating your hair, and smells super nice. Definitely one of my staples in my hair routine

It does the job of a shampoo in tem of cleansing. Have a good smell too. However, it's not hydrating and sometimes I leave the shower with a kind of dry hair

I love that I can get this online at Amazon. Works well for my 3b curls. It doesn’t leave my hair dry and frizzy like L’Oréal products.
