These kitchen scales work very well, are accurate, fast reacting and compact for storage. Specifically they have real physical buttons that are very positive and work every time, unlike other scales I have tried with touch screen buttons on the weighing surface, which would regularly not react on the first press, or would start reacting to ingredients on their surface triggering random unwanted actions.

Thoise did not inspire confidence and were returned as unfit for purpose in common with many others.So taking a chance on the single platform version from Heston Blumenthal some years later, I have to say they are brilliant and work just as they should.I hope this contunues to be the case going forward.

Lovely looking scales, very accurate, best I’ve ever had.

I wanted a fairly precise kitchen scale to replace my old, inaccurate one. I chose this scale despite some terrible reviews because it was on sale. The price was significantly reduced so I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. As far as I can tell the scale is very precise. I tested it with coins and the measurement was accurate every time, even when using the Add & Weigh feature. I also made a cake. The measurements fluctuated only when whatever I was weighing was not centered on the weighing platform, which is normal. The buttons are a bit rigid. Hopefully this means also sturdy. The workmanship might be questionable. As I was trying to pull out a hair that was stuck between the stainless steel platform and the red plastic (a short hair most likey from a cleaning brush, but gingerish; Heston's personal touch, perhaps?) the stainless steel lid came off -- it was held in place by three pieces of double-sided tape that wasn't even sticky enough to do the job properly. But I pressed the platform down and it seems to be securely in place now. The Aquatronic feature is a gimmick in my opinion. 100 mililitres of water or a similar liquid, eg. milk, weighs 100 grams. The scale basically changes the unit, nothing more. If a recipe calls for 100 ml of oil you'll still need a measuring cup. Appearance-wise it is a very stylish scale. The stainless steel goes well with the black and red plastic. And although the scale is mostly made up of plastic it doesn't look plasticky and cheap. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I love the scales. They’re incredibly stylish and sturdy looking and easy to use.

Easy to use the controls, wonderful clear display and good looking too. It’s easy to clean as well. It measures in metric and imperial and by fluid ounces as well. I haven’t used it for fluid measurements for cooking but did do a check and it was accurate. It’s very slim so fits conveniently in gaps in my cupboard. I realise that some may not like the Heston branding on it but that doesn’t detract that it’s a very good piece of measuring equipment.

What we like about this scale? So far, everything. It works perfectly. It is responsive and precise. The controls are straightforward and responsive. The display is excellent, easy to read in any circumstance. You can turn it off explicitly instead of waiting for it to turn off by itself. It looks great as well. Initially we were concerned that the scale area is small, but actually it's not a problem at all. An in the rare occasion when it would be a problem, it's very easy to work around it. My wife and I are just delighted with this scale.

Betrouwbare meting en ziet er goed uit.Voordien had ik een prulletje van 10 euro en daar zat altijd een afwijking van enkele grammen op. Bij deze topper steeds exact hetzelfde.

Extremadamente resistente, ha resistido un año de ataques de mi hijo mayor.Nota tras defunción del cacharro, achiperre o parato:Ha durado poco más de tres años. Teniendo en cuenta que a la hora de cocinar, hacer café o té y muchas otras cosas, lo peso absolutamente todo ésta báscula ha hecho el trabajo de más de una década en una cocina normal. Además ha sido martilleada sin piedad durante los juegos de mi prole.Solo tres años, pero tres años muy duros.Recomendable
