Simply 2253 Lens Tape, Red

I was a bit dubious about this as I had seen other people’s comments about it not staying on & when it arrived I was surprised at how small it looked for the price I had paid. I applied it on Sunday evening & then on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday we had some horrible weather with heavy rain, sleet, snow & a very strong wind all in a day, so I wasn’t holding out too much hope on the tape still being there, It is still there & really does the job it needs to do. Unless you get up really close, it doesn’t look as though the light is broken & gives you peace of mind until you can get the light replaced. It is definitely weatherproof & I haven’t noticed any water getting in to the affected area. I have enough of the roll left for future repairs, though I hope I never have to use it & it’s definitely value for money.

Tape was easy to apply and has been in place for about 10 days on a cracked rear lens. There has been all kinds of weather in the period and remains firmly attached

I bought this over a year ago to patch my rear break light cover, It's still there like I put it on yesterday, Its been through, uncountable rainstorms, snow, frost, ice, hot weather, direct sunlight, at least ten automatic car washes, it's still there!!, strong, durable, no leakage, And same colour as the day I bought it.

Cracked my rear light when reversing too near a tree😵‍💫 Bought this for a few pounds and cut it to length and covered the crack. It’s been on for a few weeks now, and is still in place and has kept the light water tight, and as an mot is due in a few days , because there are no rough edges it won’t fail on the cracked light🤗

Great for a Shorterm fix

Does what it says on the tin. Well made and is handy to have if a rear light with red plastic is damaged. Would buy again without hesitation.
