Used for a craft project, very nice

When shopping for pearls to create a backdrop for my granddaughter's wedding necklace, only genuine pearls would be my consideration; and upon receiving them, I was not disappointed.Having spent some time researching, it became obvious that genuine freshwater pearls would be our perfect choice.These pearls are very affordable and the AA and AA+ ratings assured me that they would be a quality I could trust. Even the size 5-6 mm pearls which were not graded are beautiful.While the individual pearls are not all perfectly round and a few of the pearls are not quite equally matched in size, my research had prepared me to expect some of these irregularities. My preference is always to have natural gems and I find nature's little nuances pleasing to the eye guaranteeing they were not created by humans.Considering that these pearls are on the threshold of the lower end of the rating scale, the lustre and color are good.In planning for the backdrop on the necklace, I wanted to allow the opportunity to experiment, so I purchased sizes 4-5; 5-6; 6-7; 7-8; and 8-9 knowing I would also have pearls for another project.When paired with my granddaughter's teardrop amethyst (her birthstone and choice for the complimentary color in her wedding), I expect this piece of jewelry to make a beautiful statement as part of her wedding ensemble.

Beautiful luster that is not seen in the pic. The pearls on the strand are mostly the same round size. I really love these pearls and I would order again from this company.❤️

I love that these pearls are truly round and don't have irregular shapes or a flat back. This makes finding pairs for earrings super quick and easy. I only knocked off a couple of stars bc the nacre layer is not very thick and a few of the pearls were dull and lackluster and I felt like they were smaller than 7-8mm compared to other pearls I've purchased. Probably would not repurchase unless a last resort due to quality being just ok.

Pearls are slightly off-round despite them being advertised as "round." Also, the pearls had deep ridges in them that were not shown in pictures. They also had slight color variations when held up to light (blue, pink, brown, grey, etc). Seller did say to expect natural variations, and I want buyers to be informed as to what those may look like. I took a star off for the ridges as I think these cheapen the look of the pearls, but I do intend to grind these ridges out.

I ordered two sets of these pearls to make 3 -18” stranded necklaces for my grand daughters.I’m very pleased with these pearls. The lustre is amazing and I tested each pearl by rubbing them against my teeth to feel that sandpaper feel that real pearls have and they all passed the test. I’m planning to hand knot these strands myself. These will make heirlooms that I’ll be proud to present to my granddaughters. Well done Adabele!
