This is incredibly sturdy, considering the price, and very easy for one person to assemble. I believe it fits a chord of wood, although I’m not certain. I have the 8ft photographed with my wheel barrel for size scale.

I looked at a lot of racks and read a lot of reviews. I am a 64 yr old woman with health issues. I was concerned about the assembly on an 8 ft rack. The box is small enough to lift. The instructions are simple and clear. I received more hardware than I needed. The tools that came with it worked great. Everything was labeled and assembly was super easy. Everything lined up correctly and the welds look good so I will not have to worry about them failing under the weight of the wood. No blemishes on the finish. Set up took me about half a hour, and I am an old woman working alone. Very sturdy rack will last for many years. This rack is a great value.

It is shipped in a hundred short pieces and comes in a rather small box - I’m sure this is so they can put as many boxes as possible in the shipping container from China. It includes the mini Allen wrench and open end wrench needed to assemble- they are sufficient to assemble one unit. Overall it is sturdy enough for the purpose of holding one face cord of firewood and I imagine if you leave the unit in one place and protected from the elements, it should last a couple years.

As you can see I loaded the rack with over (100 quantity) 2 feet oak logs. I placed my rack under a covered porch. With the weight of the wood it feels real strong and sturdy. The rack contains two circles on the sides to strap/tie it securely to a wall so it won’t tip or fall over. Since I have the rack cover I am not going to use them. Overall I feel it is a good purchase. Just note that this rack does not come with a cover. I purchased this rack cover separately.
