Great
My 4 year old grandson almost drowned them, a lot of the seeds over flowed and were lost, I didn't think any would grow and if they did it would be sparse but this is what I got instead.Highly recommend

Easy to grow, good value and cats love Trixie Cat Grass
Trixie's Cat Grass is good value, easy to grow and my kitty loves it. Each 100g pack can give 3 or 4 mini kitty lawns. I'm not being a meanie... there's too much for one grow, it just gets wasted.Attached photos illustrate the amount of growth from a third of 100g mix; if anyone's interested, my method for growing it is as follows:Fill a deep container with compost, top it with 35 - 40 grams of the cat grass mixture and sprinkle a fine layer of compost over the top. Spray with water to thoroughly moisten but don't make it too wet.Keep the soil moist... don't allow it to dry out but don't drown it either!*** The 100g kit comes with a white plastic tray that isn't deep enough if you're going to use additional soil, however, it does make an ideal 'saucer' underneath an old fruit punnet as the grow tray. ***Locate the container somewhere that it'll keep warm... a sunny indoors windowsill or outdoors in the sunshine. In the warmth of Summer, the seeds start sprouting in just a few days... a bit longer in cool weather; the grass is ready to eat in a couple of weeks. From one unit of 100g, I get three or four little lawns for my kitty... and she loves it. This cat grass is easy to grow, good value and the cat enjoys it... highly recommended!Attached photos illustrate the amount of growth from a third of 100g mix. The youngest growth is a week old in the 1st photo, and 4 weeks in the later photos. There's also a picture of a previous batch. All the grows illustrated were grown in warm, sunny weather; it does take longer to sprout when weather's cooler. Ease up on the watering if the weather's not too warm.Good luck with your growing and 'bon appetit' to your kitties :)

RYESEED GRASS
No instructions on how much seed to put in tray. Do you have to put soil in tray first and then seed and then water. I have put seeds in water in tray without soil. I think I have put too much seed in the tray. It has been 3 days and the grass has not grown. Needs more instructions

Too soft for the cats
I ordered this grass and another type of cat grass. This grass grew significantly faster than the other one. However it was very soft, and the cats didn't like it as much as the other type of grass

Cats that eat our garden grass not as interested as I would have thought in this
Its growing well, after a few weeks indoors with the cats ignoring it I decided to plant it into the garden area where they tended to sit in the hopes they show interest. Even now it has grown wonders and severely needs a trim even though I trimmed it several times while it was indoors.
