Almost perfect
The media could not be loaded. Assembly was straightforward and the manual is quite comprehensive but for a couple of mistakes. The reinforcement bar for the gas strut to hold the lid open had the sticker upside down, pretty obvious when viewed side by side but could have been frustrating if it had not been noticed until later in the assembly. It comes with a power supply for the lights and extraction fan. The cable for this has a switch to turn it off and on but the cable is short to the Y splice so I’ve had to mount the switch are the rear of the enclosure. Also, the lights/fan 12VDC PSU maybe the same connector as the PSU that powers the Laser/Airblast but they are not the same supply current and the LED’s don’t seem to have a current limiting resistor so just get hotter and hotter if plugged into the wrong PSU.The mounting of the control box from the AtomStack A20 Pro was also not ideal. There is a misalignment of one of the holes but it’s seems secure with the two other bolts installed. I mounted the display on the end of the unit as it’s easier to see in my case.I’ve installed the LED’s at the front of the case to light up the end of the cutting area I use the most. I currently looking into where the webcam for lightburn can be installed in this case, hopefully it’s an easy addition.I got the drag chains from Amazon and printed mounting brackets it fix it to the carriage. The stock cables are too short so be prepared to extend the cables to make it work.Fully assembled with the laser cutter installed it’s almost 20kg, and since it’s a large box it’s not the easiest to move around. There’s about 2m of hose for the extraction, but it’s slimy and coated with some kind of lubricant. I’ve not used it and am using a ridged plastic hose I have from a spray booth.Overall very happy with it, but you would think it would be more of a smooth interface of laser and enclosure since it comes from the same manufacturer.
