Machete Kills [Blu-ray]

If you love Danny trejos movies you deffently need to watch this movie it's so good I will deffently recommend it. But watch mechete 1st lol mechete kills is the second movie

This is what you get if you make a homage/pastiche of grindcore movies, make a fake trailer for a ridiculous film to show with it, then later on actually make the film from the fake trailer, and then follow it up with an even more ridiculous sequel.There is a lot of good in this film, but I think it falls a bit short of the first one by getting just a bit too over-the-top with the plot, which features Mel Gibson as a sort of Bond villain. In fact this is a bit like a Mexican James Bond film, but unfortunately it is like a Mexican Roger Moore-era Bond film.Hanging off the terrible and over-complicated plot are loads of brilliant stunts, corny one-liners and cartoon violence, which is the real point of the film.Well worth watching, but only in a crowd where you can join in laughing at and with the film. Watching it alone is not a fraction ofthe fun it would be in company.

Thanks for delivering this on Saturday the 26th of the August Bank holiday when I know the Postmen do not work. I loved the first Machete, but this I find that it lost the rural-ness and Mexican-ness, I really enjoyed Steven Seagal speaking bits of Spanish in the first movie, This is more like a mixture of James Bond and The Terminator, but the Michelle Rodriguez part has gone the Mexican Telenovela as now she is blind of both eyes. I loved this movie until the speed boat kills some bandits by reversing upside down over a pier with its propellers still turning, after that I feel that the script lost the plot as that the first Machete was so concise and wise in its purpose. Mind you it is entertaining but it loses the Latin thing of that hard working immigrants in Texas which is the essence of the story that goes around Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba and the twisted political career of Robert de Niro in the first Machete. But still a diehard fan of Mr Robert Rodriguez.

not watched the film yet but I have no doubt it will be as silly as the first one which is why I bouight it. HOWEVER ! I am a bit annoyed at Amazon, they have let me down . I really thought I had found an alternative to I tunes but I havn't. Everything else ive ever purchased off Amazon has been painless and ridiculously easy. this however was Not , don't get me wrong easy enough to spend my money with them but being able to decide where my download purchase was delivered to - NOT AN OPTION I searched repeatedly for a download link and could not find it , I checked on my kindle and there it was ,so I can only download to my kindle then ! WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT AMAZON ! FIRST AND LAST FILM PURCHASE FROM YOU LOT THEN .

This film is nowhere near as tight or well put together as the first film and has a slightly different feel to it, but it's still kind of more of the same at its core - it's pretty full on, more than a little crazy in places and has lots of fast paced (and sometimes ridiculous) action with a pretty decent cast who throw themselves into the chaos and humour with suitable abandon.

A fun watch

Just action fun. Silly and violent action movie. You know what to expect.

Machete kills is a decent film if you can switch your brain off and enjoy the chaos, it isnt as good as the first one as this one can get quite ridiculous
