Nice size and attractive unit, but no air quality indication
This is an attractive unit that is intended for desktop use in a smaller room. I figured this would be ideal for my home office area, where floorspace is at a premium right now. The unit is bigger than I though it was - maybe too big for some desktops. Fortunately I have a larger desk and the I welcome the bigger size, assuming that it will move more air and work faster. The unit is pretty quiet on the I and II fan settings, but anything above that makes it too noisy for a Zoom call. There is a Turbo feature which moves a lot of air quickly and is very loud. The intent is to quickly purify the air in the room. The idea is to set it and walk away for a while. I left it on overnight for the first night, just to get the room purified before starting work the next morning. You can set the unit to turn off automatically after 2h, 4h or 8h. Or you can just let it run indefinitely. There is a filter light that is supposed to come on when the filter needs cleaning and or replacing. The filtration itself is a 3 stage filter. It is suggested to clean the foam pre-filter every 3-4 weeks using a soft brush or vacuum. The HEPA and activated carbon filters are not cleanable and should be replaced every 6-8 months depending on use. New filters can be purchased on Amazon or on the Megawise website for $15-$20.So, how well does it work? I have no idea. Let me explain. I have several air purifiers throughout my house. Most of these are fairly high end units with lots of features, but 1-2 of them are inexpensive floor units. One thing that they all have in common is the ability to display enough information about how effective the unit is working. However, this one does not do that. There is nothing telling you the particle count. There is nothing giving you the percentage of clean air. There is no change in color (Red, Yellow, Green, etc) to indicate the level of clean air. Nothing. You just turn this on and it moves air with no indication of how clean that air is.So, I'm left with relying on my subjective evaluation of air quality. To that extent I think it is cleaner than without it, but not really sure. My allergies seem to be doing better than before, but again that is just anecdotal at best. I really wish this had a sensor for air quality and some indication of the air quality while it is running. Maybe that would jack the price up too much for this type of unit. All in all, this is a nice looking unit that appears to do the job for a small room. It is fairly quiet on speeds I and II, but III and Turbo are too noisy. The price point for this is reasonable, but a new filter can cost nearly half as much as the unit itself every 6-8 months. Most floor units suggest about a year between filter changes. One star off for not having an air quality indication, but otherwise a solid unit for the cost.

Easy to use and adjust
I've been using this in my office at work. As other reviewers have noted, on the lowest setting it's very quiet, but does get louder on higher settings. It doesn't bother me because I'm a fan of white noise, but I still mostly use it on the lower settings. I like the controls - it's easy to use and to change settings, and the "sleep modes" are useful. I don't know if I've noticed a huge difference in the air quality yet - I'm waiting for spring when the pollen starts flying!

Out in my office area
I have this near where I work. I have another for the bedroom so this one filters out in the living area. It is very quiet and you can set a timer as well. I believe it is doing it's job.

Powerful for it's size but rather loud.
This sleek little unit is powerful for it's size but rather loud. While it's just the right size for a bedroom, it's not something I would want running while resting. A touch screen on the top lights up making it easy to adjust the 4 speeds (3 speeds + turbo) and set the timer for 2, 4, or 6 hours. A lock button will prevent settings from being changed. (I thought it wasn't working--needs to be held for 3 seconds to activate--it's always nice to read the directions.)This unit has a new home in my art studio where I store dusty old books and make big messes. It moves a lot of air quickly on the high "turbo" setting, or I'm able to run a room cleansing 2 hour cycle when I'm not in the room.

Less dust on furniture
So this is my very first air purifier. I did not know what to expect. The assembly was straight forward. All parts were nicely and safely packed into each other. I read all instructions and explanations for it. I started it out on low which is quiet, level 2 is a bit louder and level 3 is not pleasant. i let it run on the timer for eight hours for 5 days. Since I have several animals and the wood floors and furniture get very dusty and “ hairy” in the dry winter days. To my pleasant surprise the dust levels were drastically reduced, the wet dog smells were less noticeable and the cat hair got sucked up. I just wish the filter would be washable. I am not sure how long it can last. I do recommend this unit for smaller rooms for sure.

Effective but loud on highest setting
I was very concerned when I opened this because the list of included items didn't show a power cord or adapter, and there was nothing floating free in the box. As soon as I followed the instructions to remove the plastic wrap from the inner filter, I found the power cord! Yay! It came with everything that was needed!I've let this run for about a week now in my freshly-painted guest room. It does a nice job of cleaning the air, but it doesn't really deodorize. The appearance is sleek, and the lighted settings are a nice touch. (It should probably be on a table, but we haven't found the one we want for that room yet.)Like other users, I found the low and medium settings quite tolerable, but the high setting is pretty loud. I wouldn't want it running on high if I were in the room,

Great for my RV
I got this for use in my RV. I had a big tall one that took up alot more room than I liked, so when it finally kicked the bucket I went for a smaller one. This size is perfect for my RV, which are notorious for having odor problems inside. It's a little loud on the high setting, but pretty low on the low setting. I keep mine on low anyway and crank it up if I'm going to cook something with a strong smell too it, and then turn it back down after I am done. Overall I like it, it looks nice, the design is modern and cool looking, and it takes up less space than the big one I had. So I feel like I UPGRADED to a smaller unit that's just as effective as my older and bigger one.
