Our current house is stucco and the builder installed the stucco around the old/broke traditional doorbell. Unfortunately, that doorbell had a very large, round footprint that was outside of the Nest footprint. this product worked great to hide/protect the areas that did not have stucco without looking awkward. It looks like it's part of the new doorbell. Easy to install. Make sure you have the correct Nest doorbell before you order. The wired and battery powered options are different sizes. This cover is designed for the "wired" Nest doorbell.

Improves the look of my Google Nest wired doorbell gen2 and bumps it out from the wall more which helps big time hiding the wires behind it and getting it to mount up properly. Its well made and came with everything needed to install.

If you have a large hole left by your previous doorbell, you definitely need to get this! It doesn't require any stucco patching, as it’s large enough to cover the existing hole. Before making your purchase, just ensure that you’re getting the correct model. This faceplate is compatible with the Google Nest doorbell. I initially bought one for a wired doorbell and had to return it for a battery-operated version. It’s perfect! I highly recommend it!

I ordered this some time ago and still have not changed out the mount. As soon as I do, I will update. It will angle better than the one that I presently have. It's because of the infra red light bouncing off the porch light, so it won't be so dark.

I sorta expected this to be a little more sturdy. It is made completely out of plastic, which is fine, but I was afraid I was going to accidentally break it trying to screw it into my brick wall. It fits the doorbell perfectly and looks great, but I just would appreciate it being sturdier. I'm sure eventually my kid will hit it with a ball and it will crack pretty easily. At the very least, it will end up scratched somehow. I think a more robust version would be better. We used this to cover the holes from our old Ring doorbell. We needed to switch to get all our devices on the same network since Amazon bought Ring and doesn't play well with our Google devices.

Worked fine my house was all stucco so I had to caulk it to the wall

I had a 1st Generation nest door bell and decided to get a 2nd Gen. Well the wall plate from the 1st did not fit for the 2nd . So I bought this one and it fit perfect .

I bought this wall plate knowing it was certified from Google for their products specifically for the new Wired Doorbell 2nd Generation. Even though it wasn't covering a hole I just wanted to make the doorbell look more presentable on my brick wall. It's placed flat and it still shows clear video. You can also use the wedge included with the doorbell right on the plate. But I chose to keep it flat.
